I feel like I have improved so much build wise, macro wise, mechanics wise since I first hit C-, and puzzles me how I've made NO FUCKING RANK PROGRESS THIS ENTIRE TIME.
so i just realized

If you're just playing regularly, you might play more solidly but your bad habits will solidify as well.

You probably have a much deeper understanding of the game from when you first started, You can probably analyze your replays in much more detail, and hopefully you can always understand what you did wrong in a game without needing to go back and look at the replay. It's not all about the letter ^^ i hardly play for only the letter... i play almost exclusively standard, with the same build for 90 percent of my games. i don't like to cheese and i don't do gay shit to abuse for a higher rank. ive recently been losing a lot of games by making 1 retarded mistake in an otherwise ok game....... it seriously gets me very annoyed when 1 subtle error costs you the entire fucking game.

It feels like the amount of koreans on icup went up exponentially I feel like that's just making excuses to make ourselves feel better. for one, you can't quantify that with hard evidence. and though it isnt too frequent, ive had plenty of run ins with really nooby koreans as well.

My theory is the influx of koreans, matchlist would be the "hard evidence". Maybe its just overall improvement( which i doubt to a certain extent) It takes a lot more to get a specific rank even compared to 4-5 months ago. Maybe you havent noticed at C-( which i think you should have) but it is definitely the case at C+/B- and above( i wouldnt know about the "above" obviously, im just guessing here)
