|
This thread will not and can not go well, i wish your folks and the other crashed couple a speedy recovery though.
|
Wow, thats crazy. Just be happy that they are relatively ok. A good friend of mine recently died from a motorcycle accident. Apparently his handlebar hit a cars rear view mirror and it sent him out of control, he fell over on the freeway and was runover by a semi truck. Your parents are extremely lucky.
|
I hope they will recover fast!
|
Your parents look tough.
Could of been a lot worse going at 60mph, glad they are semi ok.
|
Man your parents look like rockers.. now i know where you get it ^^
Glad they are ok!
|
Your dad is a Mondo-giga-baller. Seriously, i wouldn't fuck with that guy. I'm glad they are okay though

(Wear helmets, kids.)

it's really lucky to survive bike crashes like that, especially without a helmet
good to hear they're alright

Not sure, its still in Mesa where it was towed along with Tonys bike. It was fully insured and brand new T_T its probably good my dad wasn't riding his older bike,it would have handled worse.

Didn't I see your dad working security for the Rolling Stones once?

True life Sons Of Anarchy right there ^_^
Mom says my dad will be ok just needs to settle down and not do so much. Im pretty pissed that the Trauma unit sent him home and never said/saw the fractures in his dome. Its also worring that my dad seems to get into fights fairly often and with the fractures I worry about permanent injury to his dome.
|
LOL are those your parents? your dad looks like he is some badass terran from the sc universe

Yes those are my parental units.
|
Best of luck to your parents.
Hopefully this will persuade them that it's pure idiocy to ride a motorcycle without a helmet?

Im not sure my mom wants to get back on a bike.My dad however will probably die on one, but I think we have (the crash more so) that a helmet is a must.

You're quite fortunate that they didn't suffer more serious harm, good luck on recovery and hopefully they'll start wearing a helmet :3
|
That's good, if there's one thing you don't wanna fuck with, it's injury to your brain.
If he's worried about not looking hardcore enough with a helmet on, tell him to put a spike on the top with like an impaled plastic skull. I'd say that fits right in with the rest of his appearance.

hahah I just told my mom if he thinks its not manly enough we will weld horns onto the helmet haha.
cheers to shared thoughts
|
Oh my god your dad is bill bailey! Glad they live through it, and they look like the kind to take it in their stride pretty well.
|
Damn man some sick luck, best of luck to them. No sling for the shoulder?? And AZ isn't a mandatory helmet state?

he does have a sling at least he left the hospital with one no clue why hes not wearing it now other than hes a duffus.
And no helmet law here T_T
|
I'm glad your parents are okay, I had a friend who died a few years ago in a motorcycle accident so I know how lucky they where. I wish them a speedy recovery :>
|
accidents like these happen and bikers want to still get rid of helmet laws. why is that? im glad your parents are ok though.
|
be sure to take a picture of that horned helmet. I'd be looking for it!!

Nope they are a little young for the 60's well they were born in the 60's. My dad is 49 and my mom is 50.
My dad has 11 months of prescriptions for the seizures and only time will tell if he can ever get of the meds. Until the fracture has "healed" they can not say for sure when or even if they will stop.T_T
|
Not that realizing it earlier would have done a thing, but did doctors ever say how they failed to miss a fucking fracture in a man's face??
And isn't AZ a medical state now? :D
|
he looks more like this than a rocker or roadie imo
take care.
|
Sorry to hear that FuDDx
I hope all is well and that they recover quickly!

They are healing......
My mom is getting better daily my dad however... hes improving but he has to go back to the nuroligist to have more test etc.His eyes shake when he moves them all the way left or right and he passes out if he looks up to quickly.T_T From what my mom tells me the doctors say with this type of injury its hard to say what or when things may get better or not.The up in the air crap is the worst, and I am sure its hell on my dad hes usually pretty active, coaching, tattooing(very littlehaha),biker runs, club shit, getting prestige 7 in MW2 etc.I think the no gaming is getting him the worst silly man.
Ill try to keep this updated when I can let my E-fam know how the are.
This community rocks!
