After Discovering the 4x4 Grid, I had a full board of stars. But then... my game froze... The pain was tremendous, I had a black pearl and a full grid of stars at only level 3. But after my loss. In my drunken fury, I attempted to win again, and again, with each self destruction more obvious than before. Eventually as I pushed forward without thinking, it was level 6 and I only had 5 stars. I managed to set a partial grid, but as I regained my will to live and concentration, a holocaust happened. I was left with 2 stars. I almost gave up. I already felt the imaginary tears flowing through my face. But the will of god re-entered my body and this is brings us up to the present. + Show Spoiler [Board Here] +

You can't just rotate the bomb clockwise once? Am I missing something obvious here? The bomb is orange, right?

Those are 2 different shades of red/orange you're looking at (different blocks)

I don't think it's winnable, I'd rotate the greens and hope a red falls down.
Actually if you rotate the greens you do get the red beside the bomb. So maybe you can then pull one up. Might wreck your position though.
Jeez, and I thought I was good at hexic. You obviously have some grasp at strategies I don't. Nice board.

after playing the game a retarded amount of time, and with a few guides hexic just becomes a game of patience

how about this one guys, star is safe and i think it defuses in 4 turns
in 5 turns looks like the star at the top left corner drops into its same spot leaving the grid fine, not sure if this is even possible though

I think you can do it if you combine the greens.
Then just spin the red into place?

Yeah that actually works.
Kau: that would mess grid up. I'd break the greens but do it by moving the star down/
