TL.net can provide keys to their stuff members on their own. Do you also donate money to Burger King when you had a delicious burger o_O Rage more that your not getting the key? I opened this blog so the TL staff would see it and get back to me on who needs one. For all I care you can make your own blog about how many people are getting keys and because all you do is complain about not having one, nobody gave you one... did you mean to quote me because it makes no sense :-)

i dont care who you give it to, and i think a star member is a great idea.
i just want to clear up any misconceptions that blizzard took care of all the staff. tl got the same number of keys as a fansite that is less than a year old, and we got some for contests that we gave away to members.
the majority of staff in the beta got theirs by buying a blizzcon ticket like everyone else. to the guy making the burger king analogy, if tl charged you for something your example might work, but tl is more like a guy throwing a free bbq for everyone on the block. you might kick in to help cover the ribs.

This is a really awesome idea. I support that all staff/star should get a key before I do. Of course, making them do silly things is win-win. =) This blog needs bumping because many people are under the misconception that all TL.net staff and contributors have keys, whereas they actually gave a few out for contests instead of hoarding it for themself. (correct me if i am wrong on this point).

We were not allowed to hoard them for ourselves. I guess we could have rigged it that way but our instructions were to give them away.
It is funny that we got the same number of keys as scsuperfriends.com, but in general our staff have them via blizzcon or other connections. Especially now that the friend invites are out things should be ok. I like the ideas of giving to star members because they often do behind the scene stuff like streaming etc.
But whoever gets it, it is a generous thing. So

I changed the format of the key distribution actually BECAUSE I found out that l10f is the translator of hyungjun becomes a progamer.. I cant get enough of that show, and because of his efforts on it. All the star members can thank l10f for his translations for getting them entry to the contest,

Heya, I also got this invite-a-friend mail from Blizzard, so if there's any european admin or star member still missing SC2 beta, shoot me a pm.
I don't really have any RL friends that actually deserve the beta key or that doesn't already have it so i figured i'd give it someone who'd actually use it well.

In case it matters, just want to throw out there that SonuvBob totally deserves a beta key. He's a super contributor even though you don't see most of the stuff he does. Oh, and his bans are hilarious.
