Im not disappointed at all i think the game is awesome, just like I expected.

Not dissapointed at all with Starcraft 2 myself, this has passed my expectations.
Although it sounds like you just crossed a major obstacle in your life.

The game is not that bad. I am actually angry and frustrated towards the journey (the wait, the obsession) which created surreal expectation and took away a chunk of my life thus bringing me to the point of realization that it is just a game, a hobby, - unless you are a pro-gamer.
Game is meant to release stress, and not be the cause of it.
I more angry towards myself.

I think it's good for modern 3d rts, which is a genre I despice. The people that like it just because it has starcraft in it's name will quit within 1-2 years.

To me it just feels like I'm playing a weird looking not as good version of starcraft with new units.

game isn't that bad. it's actually pretty awesome.
just not as good as brood war.
and that saddens me.

sc2 is a really awesome game its just not the same as bw, and i think thats what has alot of people upset , the handspeed / multitasking level is much higher in sc1 than in sc2 i think anyone will agree, regardless SC2 is a fucking awesome game and i'm loving it alot.

Its nothing revolutionary - even if it was i think I am more disappointed at myself!, it won't cure cancer, its not a magical phenomena, It is just a game!
Basically I have never been so disappointing and let down in my life. What was I thinking. It is not the "next-coming"!/
I am happy now that I have played few games, I can put Starcraft2 behind me and free myself from the mental cuffs. This experience has at lest made me realize that i need prioritize my life and focus more on what really matters in life.
Finally I will no longer need rush to check my battle.net / email account the first in the morning to see I have been been chosen for beta. Nor will I need to sit in front of the monitor pressing f5 keys every 5mins. And finally I won't need to log on my cellphone to check I have received email from blizzard the last thing i do before I close eyes in my bed.

Also the gameplay I've been watching looks soooo much slower and clunkier. I don't have a beta key and I haven't played, but from what I've seen I'd rather stick with BW

In what way did WoW fail to meet expectations? I can see why people would whine about the expansions, but how was classic overhyped?
