snotboogie Australia3550 Posts March 14 2010 09:18 GMT #1 Although I missed their heyday due to being a child at the time, I've recently discovered the wonders of Metallica through a wonderful cover they did of Lynyrd Skynyrd's Tuesday's Gone. I've found some gems in my journey, and today I'd like to present to you a series of three songs throughout their career that together tell an epic tale of one man's life. The music is just exquisite. The Unforgiven (1991) The Unforgiven II (1997) The Unforgiven III (2008) Bonus: Tuesday's Gone (Cover of Lynyrd Skynyrd's original) Rock the fuck on.

Impervious Canada4212 Posts March 26 2010 23:53 GMT #11 Apocalyptica has some amazing covers of Metallica, not just The Unforgiven. vk has a lot of covers of Metallica. All of them are amazing. But, as awesome as they are, they can't beat the originals. My favorite song would be a tough one, but I would probably have to go with Sad But True. The rest of their black album is awesome too though.
