As for digital city we established a few things: Stage one will be have tournaments held at a venue, which will be broadcast online. That footage will then be used either to convince sponsors of providing enough capital to set up a television channel of our own. Or to convince broadcasters to take on the television itself. Stage two then of course will be the venue+television broadcasts. The fellowship itself is for 6 months, which will be used to secure a venue, networking, event organising, maybe even host an online tournament with some possibly big prize money depending on sponsorship. Another thing we discussed was the possibility of, once there are professional teams and team houses established, maybe broadcasting the day to day life of the gamers for a major broadcaster. The next big step in this is of course the application for fellowship, but unless I get a really shitty approvals panel at the last step there shouldn't be too big of a problem. I have been toying with the idea of setting up a website to track my progress, but I'm not sure.

And there will be no limitation to who can compete in any possible online tournaments (apart from the obvious foreigner only rules). But to participate in any leagues any players will have to be physically present.
