If you refuse to go over the speed limit at all you will make yourself an obstacle for other drivers. You just have to be smart and not go too fast. I can't believe I am saying this, but I agree with Micronesia haha. It's dangerous to drive at a speed with is a significant deviation from the regular flow of traffic. You will have people passing you on one lane roads, people riding your ass, things like that. I think the safest and most logical thing is to mildly speed, which is like 10 km/h over the limit. You're fast enough that it's not a problem, and you shouldn't really get pulled over for that. | ||

Going 60km is still too fast when the signed speed is 50, especially in bad conditions. You THINK you are in control of the car, until you lose control of the car. Oh but you are such a great driver? even professional drivers lose control of their cars because there is one thing you can't control while driving and that's the road conditions. | ||

It's true, fucking retards driving on the road driving 40 km/h on a 70 km/h road all because of a little snow ... my rule of thumb is 10 km/h under when it's really bad, speed limit when it's snowing but not too bad, and 10 km/h over when the weather is okay and no traffic. Which is not surprising considering the average age and gender on these forums are also the most likely to have a fatal accident according to statistics.
