Yea, he has like 65-59 stats as Protoss. It isn't rare for a good player to switch race because he feels like it.. I do it too. I can be a C+ Zerg player and I'll lose to D- protoss.

yea, he's gosu with his main race, doesn't mean that he's good with his offrace, too.
A year ago or so I played a KT B-Teamer (T) in TvZ (he played Z) and my TvZ was ~B lvl and I beat him 3-1 in standard games. Also he played a matchup he should known.
That saying, of course there are players who are really good with their offrace too, but definitely not all. Well, they usually have pretty decent mechanics with their offrace tho.
I was proud of myself in that situation, too but honestly it's not really a big deal.

Yeah, that's the account I use when I'm playing in windowed mode so I can take notes in class at the same time as playing StarCraft. You attack came right when a really important part of the lecture was happening, so I got mad

Even if you're playing offrace, the majority of your game sense and mechanics should transfer over as long as you're at least familiar with the race/MU IMO, so grats!

Why would we want to watch some 'low quality' games where the biggest attraction is that your opponent is apparently "good", but plays poorly?

im sorry but if he's a- with terran then it should certainly be someone else playing protoss because if you are a- with terran you will not end up being 65-59 C+ with protoss..

I managed to 3-0 a 300+apm D+ Korean by placing my hatchery at his natural each time (and I'm C- at best). Does that count?

There can be a huge difference in skill levels between races. Personally it's easy to play terran and toss at the same level, but zerg is just so different from them that nothing transfers over for me. It's a challenge to win any game with zerg, for me. Nal_keke was A+ with every race and could beat good progamers in TVZ, so there are exceptions, obviously.

OP must be very proud of this since i had to listen through this story last season( random guy just started talking to me in op irc upon seeing me for the first time in his life, started linking me koreans record etc) I chose to be a non-believer but seems like he wasnt lieing( no idea if anyone cared to check replays)

Wasnt me. i never linked anyone anonymous this record. infact my friend checked my matchlist and he was the one who found out, not me. i only found out after he told me. and like i said i was sharing the replays. it happened last season, if i was that proud wouldnt i upload right away? and i dont talk to randoms so IF it was me you were probably imposing on our conversation. Good try though!
