I attended a cosplay/anime convention at Ngee Ann Polytechnic here in Singapore yesterday, an annual event organized by the polytechnic's otaku/cosplayers' community. I arrived late (was trying to fix my internets to watch CJ vs SKT1, which failed) so I missed out on the karoake session as well as the individual cosplay competition segment, but I did manage to get the group competition, as well as a few shots outdoors.

After the event, two of my friends and I went to a nearby mall where they had this water playground. Took some shots there as I wanted to try taking shots at night.

Anyway, will let the photos speak for themselves. Enjoy.

They gave out this small wrist tags to show that you had paid for the event.

I really liked how energetic those four were. They even danced to "Nobody" later on. (Singapore is very slow in updating their kpop trendbook)

The one with the green hair is from Bleach. The other one that you thought was from from Shikabane Hime is actually from Blood: The Last Vampire.

There was someone who dressed up as the Colonel from KFC.

And he was holding a real bucket of KFC chickens, and people were just taking chickens from it. Not sure if they died from food poisoning afterwards.

The shots you took on the way to the mall are really good. Nice work (:

I especially like the one of the flock of birds. You caught a really good composition there with the streetlight. The one of the cars on the freeway is good as well...though the faded colors on the top kind of detract from it. You can correct that in photoshop, though. Actually...they're all really good. lol.
