I don't mind it... the thought of eating chemicals freaks alot of people out though. To be honest, we ingest so many artificial flavours and colours and preservatives, that jumping straight to everything artificial actually isn't a huge leap.

I've tried just about every type of meat out there, I even had spiders and rats during a China visit.
And I must say horse meat tastes like shit. Maybe it was the cut, but it was very dry, tough, and had a weirdly unpleasant scent if it isn't heavily flavored.

Yeah maybe they gave you some retarded horsemeat. Last time I was in Shenzhen I had some really good horse meat at a benihana's style sushi place.

i like bison meat or buffalo for that matter. I can think of nothing more manly than eating a buffalo/bison....maybe a bear?

I'm surprised no one has mentioned man flesh.

But I would like to try horse. And blue mountain oysters as well. The Mongolian nomads used to drink their horse's blood when they had nothing to drink, dude. About to say that. Small cut, they drink the blood so they didn't have to stop to get water. Kept them on the move, swift, and deadly.

Wow, I want to try horse...
Some of you guys are such adventurous eaters. I've pretty much only had your run of the mill...beef, pork, chicken, etc... :|

Ground horse is a good substitute for ground beef in things like pasta sauce - and cheaper.

To be honest although cannibalism is something horrible i'm pretty sure that human flesh isn't bad probably similar to pork i guess. I mean some tribes in Africa eat apes and they share 98+% of their genes with us.

Anyone tried monkey brains? You know the kind where they screw the monkeys skull in place and crack the kicking and screaming monkey skull open in front of you. Then pour boiling oil into its brain cavity and you just dig in? I want to have this experience somewhat... if not for the uncanny resemblance to a human, and the mentally disturbing images that are sure to haunt you for years. Still... it'd make a kickass party story

I tried donkey meat in China once. It was really tasty. It seemed a lot more spicy and peppery than "normal meat".

horse is good, considered one of the better meats for steak, and because humans somehow feel bad about eating horse it's also much less expensive.
