Misrah did exactly what he should have. Can anybody think of any way to successfully assault that fortification? There isn't any. And a failed assault would have lost Misrah the game. Misrah wasn't a "bitch." The bm wasn't necessary, but how many of us would have reacted differently to a situation like that? I understand that pushing someone into a corner like that doesn't mean you've won automatically. But if you watch the game, it would have been difficult for Misrah to win, but by almost any measure it was impossible for the Protoss to win the game. Showing the Protoss that he had no way to win was the only actual way to win the game. And: + Show Spoiler + | ||

Misrah had a LOT of ultras and a lot of hidden lurkers. It think moving out would have been suicide for the P. Of course, we'll never know for sure, but if it was his lack of boldness that caused him to leave, then the game still belongs to Misrah. I don't blame the P for doing what he did, but he did say he was playing for a draw, and I just don't believe in playing for draws. | ||
