If you want a good drama to watch I'd say Shining Inheritance, and yea so far (I'm on ep18 and there are only 2 more left) IRIS has been BALLER. Extremely good thriller movie with awessome twists.
can you recommend any k-series in general (so comedies as well maybe?)

I actually don't watch most of them. Just ones that are most popular at the time. Within the last year I've only seen BoF, Shining Inheritance and Iris. Goods one's I've heard are Cane and Abel, Coffee Prince etc. Really I'm not one to come to for k-drama advice.

Cain and Abel wasn't that great, Shining Inheritance was good, one of the only kdrama's I could convince my sister to watch. Coffee Prince is good as well. A really good drama that I recommend is Time of Dog and Wolf, the first episode may not be great (since its a flashback), but the rest of the series is really A+

Iris is one of the few Korean dramas I truly recommend. The actors/actresses are mostly S class and even the OSTs feature several top singers. They must've put in a lot of money into making this because some scenes are like movie status

Big production, great locations and stunts. I also agree with obsessed1. I've seen a healthy amount of Kdramas and this series is excellent as far as thrillers go. Reminds me of 24 at times.
Kim Tae Hee's acting is never convincing for me but shes doing alright in this series.

is it confirmed that he won't appear? Because I can't see how they can make Season 2 without him again o_O
|
yeah, i doubt they would do that. unless they kill him off at the end of the first season or he goes missing...or loses he his memory...or a combination of both losing his memory and going missing...=).
