When I created my fantasy Proleague team I took (T)Bogus for two reasons: he was cheap (costed only 1 point) and he did pretty well lately (stats).

Sadly he won't play the next two matches for STX. As his trade value is only 8.96 (which is outrageous) I can't get Piano f.e. with a trade value of 9.39.

So the only two choices left afaic (except for Reach t.t) are Yellow and Darkelf.

(Z)YellOw will play against (P)Movie and (T)HiyA. I don't think he can beat Movie although playing on Fighting Spirit which seems to be a good zvp map. His game against Hiya will be on Outsider SE. I'd say that's 50/50, + Show Spoiler +
he beat Boxer recently in pro-league and Iesf link

(T)DarkElf on the other hand will play against (T)sKyHigh and (P)Spear. While he will certainly lose against Skyhigh he may have a chance against Spear ( I saw his games against Best and Sangho and, yeah, one was good t.t ). Plus if ACE gets to the closer, I think Darkelf (or Anytime) will be send out since it's on HBR and Jaedong will probably play for OZ. So that would make another 2 points at least.

The problem is that if I get Darkelf(trade value 7.05) or Yellow (4.68) I might not me able to get anyone else for them for the rest of the round. Then I'd have to get some scrub who will never play because having a losing player costs you 2 points each game..

So what do you think?

Poll: Get Yellow or Darkelf?
(Vote): Get Darkelf
(Vote): Get Yellow
(Vote): Keep Bogus

Thx bye

€: oh btw my English is pretty bad, so if I made any mistakes pls tell me

Hmmmm, since you're not talking abt ur anti-team.... I would suggest you keep Bogus. IMO

Only if STX wins 3-0 afaic
link
Player Scoring:
(...)
Your Player's Team Wins: 1 Point
Your Player Doesn't Play: 1 Point (for 3-0 or 0-3 score)

If Yellow wins one game, loses the other

-1 trade tax
-2 loss
+4 win = 1

If Ruby wins one game it's the same plus possible 2 (or even 4) points for an ACE match.
I don't see STX going 3-0 against stars (vs estro maybe) so bogus will most likely get me zero points. Damn trading is so difficult

none of the other players have done anything worthy of mention

No he still get 1 point if STX wins even if he isn't on the lineup.

Ah so a player gets 1 point if the team wins and another if the team wins 3-0? Oo Why is that?

nah they only get one for being scheduled to play and not playing. So they same rules as before regarding this. Doesn't matter if it's 3:0 or 0:3 as long as your scheduled 4th and don't get to play you get a point.

It depends, if you want to place high, take risks, because dead weight won't win you fpl. If you want to be mediocre with decent amount of points, keep Bogus.

also why do you neglect Hogil, he's far superior pick.

Oh wow. I thought Hogil is much more expensive.. Oo I already got Sangho for my Antiteam, assuming he would lose against Hogil. xD Nice, thanks man. <3

First of all, Darkelf:
You don´t want him, Skyhigh is slumping but seriously he has gotten a lucky wins now from pretty good TvTers and he really doesn´t have to be lucky to add that one more L to DEs collection. Darkelf is the worst player in ACE anyways so even Reach with only one game (=win) is a better choice, also Reach is a man, not a troll of somekind.

If you are only interested in my opinion on getting Yellow only for these two games, don´t check the spoiler, if you however are not compeletely against the idea of maybe keeping him beyond this time, check the spoiler too because that´s pretty much the thought pattern I went through while deciding to take him in my team. (+4 yay!)

Movie....is inconsistent, he really doesn´t have zvz wins against above the average zergs in the last 6 months. I feel like this game is a toss of a coin.

Hiya....is a Magikarp, you know what Magikarps do? They splash, roll over and die. Seriously though OZ is Jaedong and a few players who maybe have one good matchup or less, TvZ is not Hiya´s profession, he has won Calm but that´s just about it. YellOw on the other hand is a ZvT monster and has enough games on his belt to handle any cheese Hiya will go for, ez points.

Compare Yellows came before and after that B.O.G + Show Spoiler +
Bisu ownage game
,
you see he has gotten much much better lately while still nowhere near that old dominance. So we can say he´ll get a) even better b) stays at this level c) gets worse.
Now I would cross c) out because:
- He´s been in ACE for sometime now so obviously ACE suits him somewhat
- ACE isn´t doing that bad at the moment, there is some support and spirit
- He is Yellow

so that leaves you a) and b). OK, obviously a) "isn´t that likely" because of all that " rise in skill level, lots of new more solid players blahblah" although if I had to choose an oldie who would make a "comeback" Yellow wouldn´t be last on my list.

b) is the most likely option and for your FPL not that horribly bad:
- Yellows early game/defence/anti-cheese looks quite solid, so against those very cheesy "noobie" players that some teams have to send out he is almost guaranteed a win
- his mutamicro is better nowadays and he can beat below average zergs, if a team has 2 zergs ACE can( and have taken out) the better one with RuBy ( like this: RuBy<Fighting Spirit>(Z)Jaedong) who has incredible TvZ, so I would say Yellow gets a lot of these ZvZs

Keeping Bogus might not be a horrible idea either, he seems to be one of the best rising Terrans around and not that boring to watch even.

if you want to roll the dice on a trade, Yellow seems more likely to win at this point.
