I have had this car for about 5-6 years and for about 5 years it has given me nothing but trouble, new belts, tires, brakes, discs, every 6 months or so something has needed to be replaced. Add to the fact that the engine light, battery light come on at random when I have it inspected they can't find anything wrong with it. I had the car go through an appraisal last winter and it was only worth $1.250.00 and according to receipts over the past FOUR years the car has had $2,845.65 in fucking replacements and repairs. That is not counting the one-two years added on to it which the car needed a new set of belts because the ones it had were messed up. I'm sure other things have been done to the car which I am forgetting, the fact of the matter is I am spending more money on trying to maintain the car than what it is actually worth, as well as it's monthly bill.
This year has been the worst year for this motherfucking pile of bolts, earlier this year the car started to die at random times, once I had to have a Cop jump start my car so I could get to work. The parts and labor as well as a new battery cost me around 500 dollars.
Round 2 started around a month ago, I noticed I was leaking oil so I went to an express oil change to see if they could do anything. 30 bucks later it was said to be fixed, part one of the cluster fuck delayed. Then later that night while driving home from work the car dies, I am able to get it started again. No less than half a mile later it dies again. A normal amount of time to get from work back to the house takes me 15 minutes, 20 minutes if traffic is bad. It took me 45 minutes to get home that night. The car died one last time halfway up the drive way. The following morning all I needed to do was get to class then work and when I got my paycheck to take it in again. All that day the car made a slight banging sound, at to finish off the night and what seems to be the car's last act before going to hell was to fill the inside of the car with smoke from the vents which I had on defrost.
The car no longer starts.
