Ultimate Baller Status: Achieved
There are men, there are gods, and then there is Ryan[shield]. The protoss prodigy, looking down upon the mere mortal progamers from a plateau of skill and accomplishment far beyond that of any other. Last night, the brave warriors power was tested against the might of the zerg swarm. Of course, Ryan was the immediate favorite against Jaedong, even pure power emanated from his name alone. r-y-a-n, four letters enough to intimidate even the strongest foe.
Outsider, a map of creative design parallel to ryan's revolutionary gamestyle. In the beginning, he warped 2 gateways in at the speed of light. My jaw dropped. 2 gateways? I couldn't even fathom such macro opportunity. Why, he could produce TWICE as many zealots. Truly, this man was more than just a progamer. No, he was the last hope of protoss, fighting with honor against the zerg filth.
His zealots marched across the map, dealing SEVERE blows to Jaedongs pathetic hatchery. Those brave zealots lost their lives to a mass swarm of zerglings, serving their purpose, sacrificing themselves to make the hatchery bleed. Of course, this is exactly as planned for Ryan, the heartless god-general of the protoss race, sacrificing his units like pawns in a chess game. So fearless, so bold, so handsome. His chin juts out over his keyboard like it wants to make love to the keys. He can't lose.
Ryan brilliantly transitions into corsairs, the scourge of the zerg overlord, the terror of the skies. The light beats down upon his brow as he micros the corsairs bravely directly into multitudes of scourge. By ramming into the scourge, the corsairs sacrificed themselves to relinquish the tyrants control of the sky. Truly victory was soon within his grasp.
Mutalisks were suddenly in ryan's headquarters. He realized too late; the swarm is an unbeatable beast. Bravely he fought on, his probes mining under intense fire, not moving out of the way, not giving up, sacrificing their miniscule probe dreams for the greater plan of the protoss species. This was the last stand. When it was all over, Jaedong left the booth hi-fiving, showboating, acting pompous with no skill to back it up.
Ryan leaves the booth cooly, the earth trembles under his foot, the air becomes hot near his presence. His team dare not look him in the eye, lest they turn to stone. Ryan let the swarm win the map of outsider in a genius turn of tactics. Ryan, the man with the bravery to sacrifice units to achieve just the smallest advantage.
A golden mouse isn't enough for this man.
