Much love for this! Thanks so much

Couldnt ask for anything better right before tsl ladder too
recommend bisu vs fantasy on destination. Was like watching flash vs bisu on katrina.

And then Idra gets kicked from CJ for releasing reps :O
But really, holy shit this is nice.... off to PvZ rep land!
|
Wow so many flash reps, made me very happy Thanks for the find :D
|
|
wow
who woulda thought that so many replays could be released at one time O_O
|
I doubt that this is a 'leak' because if these replays werent intended for the public they wouldn't have left the 'progaming houses' or their computers. Unless... there are spies...
|
any korean news articles on this incident yet?
|
Maybe these replays were deemed "out of date" by the players or something so they didn't care about releasing them, however unlikely that may be. Thanks anyways for compiling them all.

Thanks for the rep pack! I have one problem though. I tried loading all the replays into BW Chart, but it keeps on finding corrupt replays. Finding out which replays are corrupt is very time-consuming too, because BWChart crashes everytime it finds a corrupt replay, and then I have to open it up again to see which one is corrupt, then manually delete it from the folder. Does anyone else have this problem?
Edit: I went through all of them and the following are flagged as corrupt by BWChart: + Show Spoiler +Bisu v SangHo Crank v Joon Crank v Fantasy Darkelf v You Really v Frozean Really v Suny Savior v Devil Savior v Effort Shuttle v Fantasy Suny v Best

are any of these from older version of BW where the replays will bug out ? or are these all ready to go?
|
Yes there are quite a few older reps in there, for a lot of the zerg replays you'll have to patch down to 1.15 That's also why some of them might not load in bwchart.
|
uhg, is there a way to tell what version a replay is ? like a program that will organize them or something

Saved me from having the error come up every time. I think the only one in the list that's genuinely corrupt is Darkelf v You, the rest come up as corrupt because they're quite old. I remember a bunch of old 1.15 reps I had coming up as corrupt in BW chart even though they were fine when I watched them (with patch changer). Though, Yellow v Flash should come up as well if that's the case, since it's from 07.

MOST of the S-Class gamers has 220-250 eAPM, including Bisu, JD, etc etc. The only exception is Stork, who has like 220 APM and 160 eAPM X_X.
So... high eAPM = better players, at least there is a very strong correlation between these 2 factors.

I'm not sure, because the rep # keeps decreasing based on the link from the 2nd topic's OP. Before there were 10 and a partially filled 11th page, but now there's only 9 and a partially filled 10th. So it's possible some replays are being deleted and littlechava has some of the ones deleted that I didn't get. Now there are even less. Only 164 uploaded by that one dude based on the link in topic 2's OP.

romad please tell me why ;; beware: ~ 1000x3500 pic http://images.netbag.hu/20091128/04184573914.jpg 0,9 cc matching, 8 to cc matching, 4 rax, 5 sp, everyting matches. maybe 3-4 and overall spam is harder? he may tries to be faster cause hes inactive? he did use 3-4 more than 567 before too. also kt.mgw)smile and "ra young don" is him i think.
edit: i just found a mistake in the pack: i put force[name] vs hyuk to zvp sorry for that

Lesson of the moment: do not question roMAD. He's not even human. He's a computer program run by cray supercomputers (which TL is borrowing).

well i do because im not a sheep.
actually i still dont feel convinced. was it an offline or online tourney?
about oversky: remember entourage reps. among them there was this: http://www.repdepot.net/replay.php?id=25440 who is this? it kinda looks like the guy playing in the pack. and theres no 6-7 spawning pool so i dont know why do you assumed its clon.

It was an offline tourney. Fine that you don't feel convinced, it's not my concern. It might have been OverSky changing his hotkeys, because later he assings hatches on 3,4,5,6 - his usual pattern. I assumed it was Clon because they were both in Ace at that time and the hotkeys are Clon's no matter assings he pool on 6,7 or not. It's logical that Oversky could give him the account, i can't see any other explanation except that Oversky changed his hotkeys. Oh and you do understand that KT.MGW)Never is GGPlay?

not fine for me. accepting the fact that they came up with the same pattern is like kills the whole point of identification with hotkeys. cause if they have the same, how can we be sure that anyone we identified is not someone else? what if kt.mgw)zero just sat down, looked at oovs hotkeys and said 'ok now i'll copy your pattern, so ill be gorilla from now' or can you point out some differences between their pattern?

That's why identifying a progamer doesn't mean to fully rely on one's hotkeys. Intuition and logical assumptions play a huge role as well. In this case, you can distinguish them by clear rally action, Zero has more clear rally than set rally opposing to oov. And with logical assumption, you can tell that oov would not play under NsP_Sharp, because he is very unlikely to have any relations with him whatsoever. Sharp was a KT member at that time (now he's in Samsung) and he is very young and started playing sc much later than oov. Afaik in korean society older progamers rarely hang out with younger ones. Zero and Sharp were amateurs at the same time and seeing them obsing each other's games makes me think that they might be friends. Koreans tend to make Iccup id's with someone's West id (example: Gosi[Flying] playing under Melon[S.G]). Also, i pretty much doubt it that oov plays at all. Maybe some games in the training house, he's a coach and has other things to do. This is not an argument of course in the NsP_Sharp case, but assuming that he might have played in some tourney with amateurs and semi-pros is illogical to me. And nothing strange to me that Zero decided to copy his idol's hotkeys
