that's a good question. i would assume not, given that the locations we chose is canada, but it hasn't changed the time.

yes it'd be nice to play some games with other schools. But what I really want to know, will we have "real" practice sessions? I am very eager to learn from someone and would really appreciate if one of you guys could take the time and practice with me... and I guess with anyone else on the team for that matter.

Some of us usually play on ICCUP at night. Just add our ICCUP IDs and message us whenever you see us online. I'll try to message everyone on MSN when I see several players online. In terms of practicing together in person we can meet at York whenever we're available. I took everyone's schedule and picked out the days and times that at least 5 members can meet (check the OP). I would probably have to ask if people wants to meet on that day first and confirm who would come.
For now I'm trying to familiarize with everyone's level and try to take note of weaknesses and what to improve upon. We're just playing random 1v1 games for now and Sherwin and I are planning to set up an inter-team tournament just to see our rankings. Next CSL is probably coming up early next year so we have some time during the winter break to practice. If you want any specific match up or practice against a particular build (or your own) just give me a message and I will be able to arrange players together.

@XCLuSive: I agree, practice sessions would be great. From what I've gathered, practice sessions will start once we can find a stable place to play to accommodate everyone. In the meantime, if you play on iccup feel free to add the players and ask them for games whenever they're on.
I'm going to play on iccup right now actually.

you know what sucks? I don't think I'll be playing too much online for the next couple of days. ALready I have maxed my bandwidth for my stupid rogers and there's like .. a week and a half left before this billing cycle is done.. ARGHH
Got any ideas as to how I can practice effectively... (with the computer)?

I'm not even going to bother with TSL hahaha. It'd be funny if all my opponents ended up having TSL tags then I might as well do TSL.
Hey Xclusive. The only thing I can think of is practicing your build orders and timings and work on multitasking. The only problem is that there isn't much pressure and computer does a lot of stupid stuff late in the game.I think there are several single player micro maps based on each race too.

I had a similar issue a while ago where I couldn't play on a ladder. My suggestion is to download a lot of replays (ygosu/gosugamers/tl/etc) and watch them and analyze them.
If you don't think you have enough bandwidth to download those reps nor do you enjoy watching reps then I suppose this is not something you should do. However, if you do, and if you're interested in understanding how to "analyze" reps, then I can throw in some of the things I do personally.
1) Find reps for matchups you're struggling with.
2) Watch the replay TWICE, one from each player's POV
3) See why the winner won, and why the loser lost
I may be missing something here as I haven't watched reps nor played sc in a while. But from what I remember this is what I did and understanding why someone wins+loses helps develop your understanding of the matchup and the game itself.

Hmmm, that sounds like a good idea. I watch a lot of games on youtube (which explains why my bandwidth is almost gone), but I haven't watched actual replays. I'll give it a try. Thanks

Hey guys. Feeling much better now after being away from the computer for like 6 days rofl. I'll be able to make it tomorrow =).
