how many processes? end unnecessary ones, end all startup progs uninstall unneeded progs, worst comes to worst reformat best adware and spyware removal is malwarebytes though | ||

downloading CCleaner http://www.ccleaner.com/download downloading the newest version of malwarebytes, Link and messing with your boot-time programs. If all of those don't help, then it's time to reformat. | ||

On Windows98 and Windows95, the order may be 'hostname' then 'IP address'. On Windows2000 and WindowsME, the order is 'IP address' then 'hostname' 127.0.0.1 localhost if anything else is there delete it. finally after that get combofix, go to safemode and run comobfix combofix is way better tool once you know what spyware | ||
