Can you give me suggestions on what to do while i'm there? i figure ill hit up the concertgebeow, vangough, rembrandt and the brewery. I need like good restaraunts, good smokeshops, any live music venues to just chill and drink and shit. thanks alot.  | ||

smokeshop 36 is cool hillside blues caffe is cool the red light district is the best spot for partying smoking etc. everything will be jammed because of the cup though. you should read online, because there's probably deals where you can buy from stores in bulk. dont go to any of the bulldog shops. they once were the orginal founders, but now they're over priced and full of pricks. if you run into a shady black or indian dude on the streets, he's more than likely pedaling coke, e, h, etc... just ignore them. whatever you do, don't go down an alley with them, even if you're buying. if you plan on doing anything beyond weed, have a buddy with you. use the tram to get around. though youre supposed to pay, they checked once during all the times i rode it. every local told me to not bother to pay. here's some pics from inside hillside blues, and a map: ![[image loading]](http://img21.imageshack.us/img21/7811/56531461287930325090030.jpg) Hill Street Blues basement room. i think there are some famous ones that i plan to visit too. i need to figure out which herbal/magic mushroom shop to visit, but most of em seem to be downtown. basically my trip, take pictures, stay high/ or tripping out, and visit cool places. i plan to rent a bike, the weather doesnt look too bad for the first two days i get there. i hear the indonesian food there is kickass, and dutch food is kind of dull. there are some brazilian steakhouses worth visiting, but besides that, any other suggestions.? | ||

anne frank's was what was majorly overpriced. it's interesting, but it's just a lot of videos and a majorly restored house that looks nothing like what it did. youre paying to basically be in the house that she was in. you're better off reading about that through documentaries and stuff. and there's no thing as dutch restaurants in the netherlands  go make friends with a dutch person and have them cook for you, tis the only way | ||
