I Google'd it just to be sure that some Huanir-using trend hadn't started, and except for the fast-autos.com link, every single Huanir is ME!

In other news, this is my first blog entry, and as such, I think I'll introduce myself. For starters, I suck at Starcraft. I enjoy playing it (to an extent), and I enjoy watching it (to a much greater extent), but I'm not really very good.
I'm a Duke CS major graduating this May. I didn't know there were so many Duke SC players, so when I decided to facilitate a tournament, I didn't expect such a large turnout. I especially didn't expect to have attracted such scary people (NonY). That said, since I wasn't planning on winning anyway, I'm looking forward to the rest of the games playing out.

Hi! I'm registered as elim for your tournament. A friend, who heard from a friend, told me about your tournament, and so I told the Duke CSL team, and another friend, which explains some of the turnout :D. Though you could have advertised better...

Yeah, I didn't even know Duke had a CSL team. In the event that I do this again in the Spring, I'll do the following:
-Inform DAGGER
-Post it on TL
-Anything else?
Also, it turns out that Nytefish had the right of it. Now, in the event that jiwooni wants to play me on the iCCup server instead of Bnet East, that can happen.
Also, I'd think it awesome if the Duke CSL team would unofficially (or officially?) name itself DUST (Duke University Starcraft Team). But seeing how I'd be the team's water boy at best, I'm not sure that I'm in much of a position to make requests. -_-

In the tournament brackets I managed to dodge all good players until Nony in the fourth round.
Frozen (B Protoss) is going to make it to the fifth round and then lose to Nony as well.
CameronCrazie (B Terran) is going to lose in the third round to Nony.
Dunno how the loser bracket's going to pan out, but unless there are some randomly good people who aren't on the CSL team, if we manage to dodge each other, the results of the tournament are going to be 1. Nony 2. Frozen 3. CameronCrazie and 4. Me.
EDIT: Oh, and to get funding, we'd have to write up a constitution and shit, find a sponsor, and pass it through DSG. We could get ad hoc funding through CC or SOFC (or maybe try to pass it off as a cultural event and get funds for it that way), but honestly, I don't think it's happening.
