To make a long story short, today my girlfriend passed out, hit her head on a counter on the way down, and then had a seizure. She came to and went to the hospital, where they did an ECG, and now she has to go back later to see a neurological specialist and do an MRI, CAT scan, and bloodwork.

I'm two hours away, and can't see her at all until next weekend at best. They let her go home, so her ECG must have been alright, and I talked to her until she went to bed a few minutes ago, which was kinda relieving.

All of my friends have kinda peaced for Halloween parties and whatnot, so I figured I'd just post this here. There's really no point in letting the internet know, but I'm just a bit worried. Maybe I just want reassurance, I don't know :p

Ugh.

My friend was supposed to come over, but my other friend invited me to his thing, which is still going on atm, and is going to go on for like another 3 hours.... but i had to come home to find out my friend who was coming over couldn't make it, and now i can't go back to party for another 3 hours

Very sorry to hear that, I hope she's okay! I think since it looks like the hit on the head caused the seizure that she doesn't have a condition or anything. Hopefully she'll be fine with some rest.

On another note. today I managed to get my friend pissed off at me because I went trick-o-treating with someone else without telling her. And then I went to a party for like 4 hours.

Apparently she waited for me. :S I didn't have a phone.

oh yeah?! i stayed home all day trying to finish up my college apps until I realized that my teacher who is doing my teacher rec. form didn't know that I was EDing a college and hasn't finished writing the teacher rec. yet. so i won't be able to make the deadline.

oh and my parents made me go to church on saturday night. it was really depressing since i saw a bunch of my friends out on the way to church.

My Halloween blows too. I have the flu and I am opting not to go to parties because I feel like shit. Hope your girlfriend is ok, sounds as if she'll be fine if they let her go home. With the severity of head injuries they usually keep them if there is any sign of anything wrong. Anyways, lets hope for a better Halloween next go 'round.

My parents bought 200+ pieces of candy(good shit like snickers, reeses, etc..), and I'm pretty sure we only had like 20 kids knock on our door, max.

Looks like I got a lot of sweet eating to do this week.

Oh by the way, don't see Halloween 2 by Rob Zombie. One of the worst horror movies I've ever seen. My theater was showing a special screening of it for today.

i never liked halloween at all, even as a kid. i then learned to hate it because of a very bad experience once.

one which seems ridiculously petty & pointless after reading that. gl dude, just be there for her when you can.

I personally don't like it when trick or treaters come bug me ._.

I don't have the nerve to put up a big sign that says "This home occupied by a convicted sex offender" though.
