I'm only using stereo speakers here ( no studio monitors), but it seems like the cymbals could be turned down a bit, and the guitars a bit up? Depends on how you like to mix your stuff, though.

If you did, im wondering how did you do the drums, I really want to do some recording but have no idea which programs are good for drums. Drumkit from hell. Turning the cymbals down ain't a bad idea, but if I turn the guitars up the triplets won't be very punchy because the guitars will drown out the kick too much. Maybe bringing the cymbals down will let the guitar "breathe" and "turn it up" a little bit. Thanks for the posts guys! :D

But more importantly, what is your 1k dollars of equipment?

Line6 podXT (want a podx3 but can't afford it yet ), PreSonus Firepod, and a Line6 Toneport UX2. 1k is a very rough estimate but I think that's around what all this stuff is worth nowadays. Let's say between 1 and 2k haha . And obviously the costs don't include my guitars / instruments. On October 16 2009 21:11 Amnesia wrote: Sound quality is ridiculous. And I don't really like Metal. As far as the music goes, well.. I'm not gonna touch that. It's good but a little boring
