uncontrolable, do you sometimes feel you get stuff for free or easier because of your good looks? if so, how does it make you feel?

To clarify, I'm not necessarily talking about goods, but stuff like.. job interviews, opportunities, maybe even attention/love

There is definitely a difference in how you get treated as a customer based on how you look. I especially notice it when I travel. When I'm all put together and dressed nicely, I get treated like I'm way more important and get way better service than when I'm in sweats, hair all frizzy, etc. Overall, being a young 20-something girl has huge benefits that I can't deny. That's pert of the reason I want to travel so much now, because it won't be so easy to find friends and free places to stay around the world once I'm older lol.

In terms of how does it make me feel? Actually it makes me kind of sad, in a way. First of all because I think all people should be treated based on who they are, not on their looks, but also, to be completely honest, because I know that one day I will be old and my looks will fade and there will be nothing I can do about it. lol. Or, who knows, I could have a tragic accident and be scarred. I guess sometimes when I am reminded that people think I'm beautiful, it stresses me out cause I worry about whether or not they will feel the same about me, or treat me the same, if that ever changes. I want to be loved just for me, you know? It scares me to think I might lose a part of someone's love if it is in any way based on my looks.

That said, I can't say that I don't enjoy the certain advantages that come from batting my eyelashes at the right people at this point in my life. It has gotten me certain opportunities that I definitely wouldn't have gotten otherwise. As such, I can say it also makes me feel extremely blessed. I didn't do anything to deserve a certain genetic makeup, I was just born that way, and I am very thankful that I feel satisfied with the way I look for the most part, because I know a lot of people aren't. Honestly, I don't think that beauty just comes from genes though, I think a large part of why people think I'm pretty is because I am generally very comfortable with who I am, and confident in my own skin. That makes me feel proud, and gives me a sense of responsibility to be a good example for other young women on that front.

Haha does that even answer you question?

yeah, it was pretty interesting, because I always wonder this about pretty girls, ty .

So you feel people should be treated based on who they are, still you use your looks to make stuff easier for you? Or do you just accept how you are treated?
I really dont want to attack you or something, I'm just curious...

All in all you seem to be a really nice girl by the way, it's also pretty cool how you give lengthy and intimate answers to all these private questions .

Good, sometimes I worry that I'm writing more than people really want to know, so I'm glad you are enjoying it. I think I'm learning a lot about myself as I answer these, too.

I know you're not attacking, that is a valid question, and I guess the answer is yes. I observe the unfortunate truth that humans respond to attractiveness in others by treating them better, but I accept how I'm treated because...what else am I supposed to do? Demand to be treated less well? In a perfect world, everyone would be treated with the utmost compassion and respect, so I guess I don't think "if wasn't pretty, this person wouldn't be nice to me" or wish that I was treated with less deference.

Sometimes, too, I guess i do know I'm getting what I want because I'm young and attractive, but usually I only do that purposefully when it's either relevant to the situation (trying to get modeling jobs) or only taking advantage of someone being very shallow (getting into a good club for free because my girlfriends and I look good. I don't feel as bad because I'm just causing them a loss based on their being shallow). When it's the reverse, though, like someone is getting treated like a lesser person or getting less privileges because of their looks, I go to war.

I don't know, this is something I have been thinking a lot on the last few days...it's worth more thought and discussion for sure.

On the top of your head, what's the biggest misconception that men have about women?

and

How do you feel about Boji cars?

You know, this is a tough question, especially with the caveat "right off the top of my head," but my first instinct is to say that the biggest misconception is that we're SO complicated. What I mean by that is, yes, women are complex, but there are very simple guidelines you can follow, just like with men, to insure that you are keeping a woman happy. The reason we seem so complicated is that, unlike men, we don't spell it out, or necessarily even say what we want. Thus, if you just take the time to figure out the standing desires of every woman, you will become the chick whisperer.

Let's take the classic example of Starcraft. Now, believe it or not, women in general probably have no hate for SC. They don't dislike video games, and they don't resent that you play one. In fact, if you're relatively good at it, or have had some success in competition, this can be actually a bit of a turn on, you just have to play your cards right. The problem that women have with Starcraft is, in fact, usually the simple fact that they feeel threatened by it's place in the hierarchy of your attention. What I mean is, they wonder if, given the chance to spend an hour with them, or an hour with Broodwar, you would choose the latter. I'm not saying "if you had to choose between ever playing SC again and being with her..." no, that's ludicrous. I'm saying, right off the bat, women are, at base, very territorial and hierarchical, and, if they really like you, their goal will become to be at the very top of your list on both accounts. If you are just casually dating someone, first few times you've been out, of course you owe her no such place in your attention, and you just have to make sure you affirm to her that you are interested in considering her for that place in your life. However, if this is a steady girlfriend, perhaps a wife, you have to communicate with her that she is the head lioness of your pack. Now, to go back to the classical "if you had to choose between me and _____" question. Don't let her get to that point! Most women, deep down, know that that is a really stupid thing to ask, and that it should never really be brought up...but it happens out of emotional distress. Some tips to keep her on your side where it comes to hobbies: make her feel like you two are on the same side, a team. Say things like "I'm so glad to have found a girl who supports me in my interests. You wouldn't believe how many girls try to make me stop playing because they don't understand how important this game is to me." That will have the dual effect of making her feel affirmed, like she is doing something right and you like her for it, as well as communicating how important your hobbies are to you. Emphasize her hobbies too, and encourage her to do them as you do yours, like "Hey, I love that drawing you were working on the other day, I'm playing SC but would love to hang out, do you wanna come over and work on it while I play?" This shows that you WANT to spend time with her, and gives her something to do that makes her feel like she is accomplishing something as well. Believe it or not, her primary goal is often to spend time with you, no matter what you are doing. This comes with the unsaid rule, though, that you have to pay attention to her periodically, like between each game, so she doesn't go home feeling like you couldn't have cared less whether she was there or not. Lots of affirmation is good, just a smile between plays and a "I like having you here" moves mountains in the female mind. Finally, if you can, invite her to get involved in your gaming. show her funny vids on team liquid, ask her to watch a pro match with you and explain all the basics so she can start to feel like she knows whats going on. Pick one that showcases some of your favorite moves or units, so she can get excited along with you as you describe how you like to use them. Ideally, if she is the right girl for you, she will have some interest in the things that you like, too.

All in all, you've merely got to communicate to the girl that she is important to you, and you like having her around. In my personal experience, this is a delicate balance, that, when properly maintained, can actually strengthen your relationship. Geoff, for example, plays HOURS of Starcraft a day, but is always careful to explain "Honey, I really want to spend time with you, but I have a big tournament in a few weeks that I really need to train for. Do you mind if I play for a few more hours and then we can catch a movie or something?" Of course, then I am going to say that's fine, because I am a supportive girlfriend, and I want him to succeed. Just like, when I need to practice for an audition, he's supportive, or when I'm in a show, he moves heaven and Earth to be there in the front row. It's not that complicated. Human beings just need affirmation. And while it's usually easy to figure out what kind men need, with women, you need to look a little deeper. Make her feel good about being her, and she will support you being you.

Oh, and Boji cars? Yeah, I'd probably go with the Aston Martin. Can't beat stepping out of a hot car feeling like a Bond girl. . ..or, you could buy yourself a nice 20k car and buy a year's worth of meals for an entire village of orphans...either way.

Compromise and get a 700nm dodge viper you know you want to.

and for UnC: do you look down on general degeneracy I.E drinking, sex gambling,etc... (all in abundance) ?

That question involves two parts that need to be defined "look down on" and "general degeneracy." I personally drink only in moderation, gamble only once in a while in moderation, don't do any illegal drugs, and am waiting till I'm married to have sex. That said, I don't "look down" on anyone who hasn't made those decisions. I have reasons for the choices I've made, and of course, having given them some real contemplation, I think they are the best ones to make, but that doesn't mean that I in any way resent or disrespect people who have made their own choices that are different than mine. Just as I expect to be respected for what I value, I respect others for what they value. The only thing I don't respect is people who make choices without thinking, or without having a reason. A lot of people take the easy road or follow the crowd without really stopping to think about whether they want to or not. Still, I don't look down on them, but I don't regard their choices with as much respect. The misconception is that, because I live a fairly conservative moral life, I am going to somehow dislike people who don't, and that is not the case AT ALL! It makes me sad when people assume that I am going to despise them. I love first!

What kind of movies do you enjoy?

Any specific genre or book you enjoy reading at the moment?

I love movies in general...pretty much any except for horror. My favorites are the original Star Wars Trilogy, Princess Bride, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, some others... but I dunno, it depends on the mood I'm in. A lot of days I'll just curl up and watch Pride and Prejudice, and other days I need some Billy Madison, you know?

I finished reading the 'Song of Ice and Fire' Series a little while ago and now it's like, all Geoff and I and my roommate can talk about. SO good. Historical fiction is one of my favorite genres, that's why I love the 'Mark of the Lion' Series by Francine Rivers. I also just finished reading "Mother Tongue: English and How it Got That Way" by Bill Bryson. A total nerd book, but really up my alley in terms of interests so I loved it. I actually also really really loved the Twilight Series recently, just for pure romantic and entertainment value, and also recently re-read Ender's game. I love to read, and I read REALLY fast, so I'll read just about anything.

Basically, in short, I'm terrible at choosing favorites of ANYTHING because I like such a wide variety of things.

You'd have to chase iNC to love you back after becoming a man, in what way are you going to show/prove him that you are really Anna?.

This is a reallly strange question. lol

If I were a man I think I would be Justin Timberlake. I want his talent and career.

I'm not gonna touch the implied homo-erotic part of this question, but how could I convince Geoff I was me even if I looked completely different, that's an interesting question... I think I would probably just tell him some of the stories that only I would know, like what he said to me on the phone to make it better when I was deathly ill and depressed in India, or what the snow looked like when it fell all around us on that one special walk we took in Southtown... gushy, intimate stuff.

If I were a man, though, I'd be SOL cause our relationship would unfortunately be over. He's definitely very straight.

Physically, it's his shoulders/upper arms *drroooooool* they're amazing, as well as his eyes. You know that color that is like, deep inside a glacier? The light silvery icy blue? That's the color of his eyes. People get distracted talking to him sometimes because they're so intense. Too bad he squints all the time because he refuses to wear his galsses.

On a less superficial level...gosh there are so many things I love that it's too hard to pick a favorite. I guess I love how smart he is. That encompasses a lot of things, like his sensitivity to and awareness of the needs of others, his steadfastness, his drive to do what's right, and his ability to communicate on an exceptionally high level about anything and everything. He's just a really good person, and very good to me

Thank you for asking it that way, cause I get really tired of people telling me that because I'm "white" I don't have an ethnicity. My cultural heritage is rich too!

To answer your question, I'm a mix of lots European, a lot of Scandinavian, particularly Czech and Norwegian, quite a large bit Italian, as well as British and a little Jewish. Those are most of the main ones. As a result, I have fair skin that never burns and gets really tan, I had to have braces, and I have really freakishly long legs.
