WARNING: THIS BLOG WILL GIVE AWAY WCG USA SPOILERS (I don't think any replays/vods are available anyways.)
So I was planning on making a big blog detailing all our adventures and fun times at WCG USA, but then I realized I didn't want to write a whole organized formatted coded shit blah blah blah after coding the whole R&S thread. What I'm gonna do instead is just make note of a couple highlights and invite TL members to ask me about anything you want - the players, the organization, the atmosphere, the games - if I can answer it I will. I didn't really bring a camera for most of it so I don't have any pictures (I think my dad took a few) which I sorta regret. All in all it was a TOTALLY awesome weekend!
- Friday I got there late and missed most of the games. I spent most of the time hovering around the players area (we weren't allowed into it  ) and not really talking to anybody... was too shy to approach anyone. I basically just watched the games I could and talked to LuckyFool and KawaiiRice a tiny bit until...
- Friday evening all the players walked outside, a couple of them did a couple interviews, again I just sort of hovered around without talking to anyone like a shy nerd D:. Then they started walking and I was basically just talking to KawaiiRice lol (he barely talked anyways) and I stayed with them (they were walking the direction of my house). Eventually I just ran in front of them and started to go home, but then Artosis yelled "hey kid in the T1 shirt" and I turned around, and he asked who I was. I was just like uh some random teamliquid guy and he was like oh who? and I said I was Pokebunny and he's like oh Pokebunny! and then we talked a bit and he invited me to dinner (with him, IdrA, KawaiiRice, Slog, G5, Nyoken, and some guy I didn't know D: ) (2 blocks from my house omg) so I borrowed KawaiiRice's phone and called home and ran to get money. We had dinner at a nice little diner, the food was fine, talking to them was awesome, and it was a great atmosphere. One of the better days of my life ^_^
- Saturday I again missed a bunch of the games but I was there to watch IdrA drop his only game of the tournament to a 5 pool sunken rush on Colosseum from iNcontroL. After that I had baseball, and when I came back the playoffs were mostly over. I watched the Losers Bracket Finals (G5 vs Louder) which were pretty tense games and I was pretty into it. Saturday evening I didn't end up going anywhere with the players afterwards. Saturday was a bit more comfortable though, was able to talk to more people since I knew a bunch of guys from dinner the night before.
- Today (Sunday) there was only the Grand Finals left to play, so I watched the finals from Louder's PoV and then again watched the replays casted by Artosis and PsyonicReaver on the big stage after hanging around chatting and watching Virtua Fighter (and complaining about how boring it was). We went to lunch at the same diner we went to on Friday and this time PsyonicReaver, Machine, iNcontroL and his girlfriend came with us. It was another awesome meal, after that I went back to the convention center and then home since nothing much was going on. I went back near the end but it was pretty much over (most players had left) so I didn't do anything. Another of my big regrets was not saying goodbye to most of the players and people there so if you end up reading this, bye guys! It was a great weekend and I hope the finals are somehow here in NYC again next year!

Haha I'd tell you about the stuff that went down after pokebunny's bedtime... but I'm not sure which stuff would be okay for me to release to the public :3
Although on Saturday the open bar ran out before we had time to get particularly drunk XD

The bar actually ran out? LOL. That place was so pimp though it was amazing. Too bad we had to jet early.

Nah they didn't actually run out (of most things), it was just that there was a limit to how many drinks they would sell before it became a cash bar.

Ah that makes sense.
That golf game was pretty epic though haha, glad you were able to show and hang with everyone on Saturday, that was the best day of the 3 in my opinion.

And the golf game was all right except it kept saying I was drawing the ball which isn't accurate. I have an inside-outside swingplane which is 100% normal.

Well yeah he's quiet but I had never met him and inside of a few seconds I had him talking a little... it's all in the technique.

Yeah, it was micronesia who got me to stop my addiction, but i seriously shouldve stayed instead of getting pulled away by my friends. I wouldve wanted to atleast say hi to the players
