ok so i have a year old emachine t5274a. (it was cheap;o)
I just bought a new gfx card (came with integrated) and a new PSU. ( 250 --> 550 watts)
my computer won't even power up but i cant seem to find out why the fuck not. I've never done anything like this before so i'm 90 percent sure i fucked some wiring up since i've never had a problem before.
any help that could point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
sorry for being so vague.

Take pictures of how your power wires are connected at the moment. That will make it A LOT easier to help you.

Please specify what graphics card you bought. If it requires a 6 or 8 pin power connector, it would be a good idea to plug that in. If that doesn't work, try moving it to a different slot. If that doesn't work, i suggest RMA.

I strongly dislike people RMAing things when they can't figure out why it won't work. if it's actually bad it's not a big deal i suppose.
Pictures would be much easier, or at least figuring out what kind of power is going where.

something is probably plugged in wrong or messed up. 550wt should cover a single gfx card. What model video card is it?

where does the red and white cord go? i unplugged it on accident when removing the old psu and i think that and the blue/white one are the power switch cords...
what is this cord?

last bump i promise:O
the last 4-5 pics were taken after i plugged the red cords in.
I didn't move the blue/white wire but i really have no clue where the red/white one is supposed to go...the blue/white one just seems kind of randomly placed on some pins.

not sure if it makes a difference but try plugging the other 4pin atx in. it's the smaller plug on your mobo (3rd pic). they usually include 8 pins for boards that support it but i dont know if it matters which one you plug in for 4pin connectors. judging by the lock you may have it plugged in incorrectly as well.
also clean your heatsink!
the red/white blue/white wires are just power connectors for your lights in front of the case most likely i dont think anything essential plugs into those. also you're going to have to read your mobo manual to figure out what needs to plug into what
