I have lost count of how many times that has happened to me. I know it happened to me on Expert like 3 times in a row and I failed every time when I otherwise would have broken a high score. One time I even ended up with a situation where I had 3 or 4 mines left with a ton of squares unexplored with no way of parsing it so my chances were even less than 50/50 : /

That's incredibly common.

Usually you have to completely flat out guess on at least one square.
