First of all I would like to correct the title of this entry.
First fast food meal in 6 years with some rare pizza dinner now and then.
When I was younger I used to eat fast food esporadically until I tried KFC. I mean, that's not chicken. It doesn't even look like chicken. That's not a chicken's leg, nor a wing. It tastes diferent. I remember puking after my first and last KFC meal. Grilled spicy chicken "fast food" is common in Portugal and there's even this international franchising company called Nando's which is probably the closest to what I usually eat here.
Since that infamous KFC day I decided not to eat any fast food again... until today.
I woke up late and I was really hungry for a burguer. I checked the freezer and there was no meat so I decided to go for the easy way.
I went to McDonald's and ordered a Big Tasty with a coke. It was the largest burguer in the menu and I was really hungry so I gave it a shot. It had ridiculous amounts of maionese with moustard(?) and a pretty decent sized burguer with salad and cheese. My expectations were low and I have to say it was a taaasty burger, but defenitly not a Big Kahuna's with sprite. I didn't puke and I was quite happy about the taste and it was cheap.
Conclusion: I think I don't visit fast food chains very often because I like to know what I'm eating and... I just love cooking.
About McDonald's: I was pretty impressed because it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, although I didn't eat their chips.
I'm not sure if I will visit the restaurant again in a near future but who knows. In 6 years perhaps? *Counting*
Question: how often do you eat fast food? Do you like McDonald's? What about KFC?

I don't particularly care for either KFC or McDonald's. Though as far as cheap menu items go, the Double Cheeseburger is better than a lot of cheap items at other places.
For burger joints, I like either Carl's Jr. (Jalapeno, or just a burger with the sante fe sauce, or teriyaki) or Jack in the Box (sirloin burger with grilled onions - their jumbo jack is good too). In-N-Out too, of course, but they're definitely a higher tier of fast food.

KFC tends to suck outside of america for some reason (except canada because well, we're your retarded cousins apparently)
comparing america McD to euro McD though, euro McD wins by far. I eat fast food maybe once or twice a year and honestly when I compare them, there's a large gap t_t

The only thing I am able to eat from McDonald's and get full is the Big Tasty lol. Their stuff is pretty small and cheap.
I really hate KFC. Their food tastes awesome imo, however it ends up fucking up my digestive system for a while T_T

Depends on the country. Here it's 4,45€ for a normal sized BigMac menu, and 4,95 for the super sized one.
Last time I was in the Netherlands I think it was something like 6€ and about 4€ in Russia. In spain it's about 5€ and France, the UK, Germany, all share the same prices.

Mcdonalds food sucks imo except for their fries which are good. I barely eat fast food anymore besides pizza once in a while but I always liked Wendys and Taco Bell. KFC was ok Burger King was just a small step up from Mcdonalds. Sonic was good the one time I had it.

I think fast food is pretty tasty. When you get older your tastes change and you input other thoughts into the food that makes you think it tastes worse such as it being unhealthy and making you feel like crap. Every young kid loves McDonalds, it isn't until we get older and appreciate fine dining that we realize it's low quality food.

I usually I don't go to McDonald's but I can't resist their breakfast... if I'm driving in the morning usually I stop and get one of the breakfast sandwiches.

Depends on the location though, it's a bit more expensive at strain-stations etc, cheaper in the former GDR.

they got some new 1/3lb angus burger that is off the hook. There's three different kind: deluxe(regular lettuce/tomato/cheese/pickle burger), mushroom swiss and the bacon cheese....
I've tried the deluxe and bacon cheese only b/c i got some coupons for buying the burger alone(3.99) and you get free fries and a drink.

I go to McDonalds or Burger King on occasion, kinda depends, sometimes I'll go like 5 or 6 times in a month, other times I won't go for months on end. It's decent tasting food and is really cheap and I'm pretty damn thin so I have no obesity worries.

Fast food tastes sooooooo good it blows my mind. I would say it's my favorite food in the world.

Non-American McDonald's restaurants tend to be pretty good, but American McDonald's suck major ass. Dunno about KFCs, though.
