Edit: So..if you're having the same problem and/or fear this happening to you I recommend turning off automatic update for a while until more information is out to what's up. Control Panel > Classic View > Windows Update > Change Setting > Check for Updates but let me chose to Install hem/download Them Edit2: Problem seems to be with JUST x64 bit machines update name: KB973879  | ||

Eh, I've had this laptop for 2 years and so far it's running smooth. I think if one depends on Windows Update services(whether XP, Vista, Win7, etc) for protection, that person might be in for a world of hurt. Also, Vista works fine for me. I did some research and messed with the registry a bit, took out some processes I didn't need and now it doesn't guzzle down RAM. | ||
