Hey guys..
Today my parents demanded I sign up for college classes.. (I haven't done much at all towards college)
with my mom warning me if you don't sign up sooon all the good classes will be gone and you'll be on a weird schedule!
WELL FML.. your right mommmy... to bad you'll never read this to see me admit such things.
I looked up what classes I can take and omgosh.. there nothing nada shit zilch left..
I'm left with two reasonable choices and I come to you TL for advice.. (gawd help me)
I can either.. take the two hour bus to college 5 days a week for 3 hours of classes..
~or~
I can go twice a week monday and wednesday but my classes are spread out throughout the day and I'll be there from 8 am to 10 pm.
An important factor is.. the classes that are required at some point to graduate and for more classes. are teh 5 days a week ones.
But if I take the monday/wednesday classes.. its true i'll be kinda stuck doing nothing at college all day. But I'll have more time to hunt for a job. Whereas if im spending 5 hours everyday going back and forth not so much..
and then do the important math and English classes next semester.. where i will sign up way ahead of schedule.
thoughts?

monday/wednesday and it's not even close, if it takes as long as you say to get there this is the easy choice

Ask yourself what's more important, time in the day or taking a break between classes.

Do the two long days at college. TRUST ME. I have done both, short days with extra tavel vs long days with more days off.
If nothing else you waste a TON of time in traveling if you go with what I would consider the bad route. It forces you to do more homework on certain days, but overall it makes your week flow a lot better.
Do the monday/wednesday route 100%.

monday wednesday is the obvious choice...
remember to sign up really early for your following semester though
in fact, i'd suggest signing up now while you're at it if possible. i know that my school lets ppl sign up for both fall and winter semesters at the same time, and most ppl do sign up for both semesters at the same time.
you know what, even i wished i only had to go to school on monday and wednesdays only and get entire days off/be able to work for money. assuming of course my schedule doesn't look like shit with all the extra classes next semester...
EDIT: actually, make sure that your following semester doesn't look like complete and utter shit before you go for the monday/wednesday option... you never know what might happen.

Monday/Wednesday route.
Especially with a long commute, it would be more efficient, and allow you more time to work on assignments and what not. A problem that could arise from this would be burning out from all the consecutive classes, so it would still depend on what you can handle.
EDIT: A thing to note is, when you're on campus for an extended period of time, you can take the breaks in between classes to work on the assignments, leaving what you don't finish to do at home.

Monday/Wednesday no questions asked. Sure you'll be at school for a long time, but there will definitely be breaks. During breaks you can do HW and such so that the next day when you have school off, you have more time to rest as well as review your notes.

Why wouldn't you sign up earlier? You would have had to have done it anyway, I don't see the point in putting it off.

yeah id go with the 2 long days, especially since youll really feel a 2hour bus trip there and back EVERY day...but does the bus operate at 10pm? no trains near you?
like people have said before, you can study at school, or use the computers to download/do your assignments, access the library there, socialise etc.
is there a square or shopping centre or somewhere nearby to your college you can go for lunch or w/e on ur breaks?

yea some buses go to 11.
No trains the college itself is only 7 miles away only 12 minutes or so by car. but by bus with all the stops and transferring to buses its at least 2 hours there and back.
Nothign really around the college but a 7/11 station. There is kinda hangout building with ping pong tbales an couches for students to just chill at.

and next time wake up the moment class applications start or you will get screwed.

and no direct bus there and back.. gotta hop a total of 6 buses there and back
