So we all know that JD is having a hard time right now. I mean he might not be sleeping as of the moment, and could be contemplating about his future.
But what can we do guys? as the foreign community is there anyway that our voices can be heard? That we stand united against a tyrannical governing body known as KESPA?
I am here, one stupid man that is really saddened that JD is being forced to play endless games without proper pay, risking his life for the ratings of TV
All I can think of is lets try to protest via mean of pictures/banner or such. I don't know how we can start, but once I put the webcam on maybe make a banner how awesome JD is and how fucked up KESPA is.
KESPA you ain't a fucking god to decide the fate of these players.
If Maynard James Keenan sells shirt like "Free Frances Bean", let's at least try to make a photoshop or some sort of painting to free JD!
I'll edit this post later, going to go for MS paint for JD!
Let the revolution begin!

Could you explain yourself a bit more. Maybe I am out of touch with recent developments, but if Jaedong keeps winning he can't exactly make everybody else wait around for him to be ready to play games...right?
Edit:
Q: A lot of people think that you were overworked on Hwaseung, what do you think?
A: I think that a lot of people think that I'm carrying a heavy burden on my shoulders, and I'm having a hard time. My parents think so too. But me personally, as always, I've been having a great time with my teammates and coaches, and even though I've had a packed schedule and sometimes it's a bit excessive on my body, even if i'm tired physically, I'm still having a lot of fun, and just living with the people I love was very happy and fun, I didn't even know time was passing as we went through the season. I wish people would realize this, and know that I don't feel that way in my heart.

I guess this is off-topic, but why does Maynard James Keenan sell shirts that say "Free Frances Bean"?

This made me chuckle. I hope that was the intention, and you're not serious.
Although I suppose if you are serious, that also makes me chuckle. =)

Well, he saw how fucked up Courtney Love is and he knows that Frances Bean (Kurt and Courtney's daughter) is in deep shit. That's why he made a shirt like that.
But, what I'm try to say is that JD still doesn't have any right what so ever. I mean some of the netizen's of Korea are protesting right? why can't we do that ourselves?
here is what I made so far:
Yes I know my MSPAINT suck balls but I know some of you can make a much better picture for him. Then let's try if Mr.Hoon or the other Koreans in TL help in posting this Korean sites that the foreigners CARE as well!

If he isn't fighting the situation in interviews then what is the point of us fighting it with pictures? Either he doesn't see it as a problem, or he does but doesn't want to show that he does, either way nothing we say will change it as long as he is outwardly ok with the situation.

Remember the last time an internet protest changed something? Yeah, me neither.

Thank you Jibba! you really are my brother even though illegit that is
But for real man, JD is going to be mind fuck in a matter of years. I mean the toll in his body, the tiresome games, the emotional stress. You've got to feel something for this kid
Just look how unhealthy he is sometimes. It's like he has hepatitis B or something.

BAHAHAHAHAA nice.

Well I don't think this is a specific JD problem, I think that there's a general problem in korea about the players not having enough rights, they need some kind of a player's union. But I doubt anything TL can do is gonna make that happen ^^
Maynard James Keenan rocks though :p
oh and great paint job

yeah.
if only they had like a korean e-sports players association or something
but to be a bit more serious. this situation really shows some problems with how free agency is set up right now. hopefully some changes will be made.

There might be some kind of lawyers who could help... but I don't know how the Korean legal system works.
|
KeSPA's just gonna tell anyone who tries to challenge them to fuck off

There is a difference. In both of those cases, Blizzard agreed that it was a problem. KeSPA, on the other hand, rather enjoys the control it has over the Free Agent status. Infact, I would not be suprised if they claimed that they "already protect" player rights and that there is no need for a player union.

Unfortunately we are powerless.
