The off-season really feels like it has even more Starcraft to watch than the rest of the year with Wardi being live seemingly 24/7 and more events besides. Watching the meta form post patch, the rise of Cure, and the allegations of #terranpatch has been fun.

The Korean playerbase and the top of the Circuit don't seem to care in the slightest about the ESL Open Cups, so I can't be bothered.

Who said this refers to the ESL Open Cup? Basically every top Korean except Dark played in the BJ Destruction Match for example.

BJ Destruction is entertaining. It would be even better if I knew Korean, since the Korean cast seem to have a really good time.

Watching Wardi vids basically 24/7. This guy produces them faster than i can watch. Really good competition in the off-season, and yeah, BJ Destruction is also nice

This phase of not having premier tournaments for months is a little bit unsatisfying, but I am really happy that there is a lot of other content in the mean time and right now other players than the usual top progamers have their chance to shine, which is great. I'm hoping this is the calm before the big storm of epic battles

There is constantly content being run. However, I usually rely on SC2 write ups to clue me in on tournaments which is mostly why I only watch the Major ones. With the major ones at a stand-still more writeups on what is going on in the online realm would really help get me engaged.

I wish some of the qualifiers were streamed like super-tournament obviously but the online cups I could have liked to see the rounds or group stages in playlists as to watch them in the correct order or just formatted to be more user-friendly on youtube at least

Is Sc2 still runing? Is it a dead game? People talk about this. If it isn't there'll be events. But I recognized that they became quite smaller. Nation Wars last year is a good example for this development. And often I see that SC2 events aren't crowded.

But concerning ESL Open Cup it must be stated that the Korean level of participation has been rather poor more often than not. EU sees good and top level participation every week, and as far as I have seen the NA Cup is also doing well, even though Neeb seems to prefer to play in the EU event lately.

absolutely is - especially with the renewed 3 year guarantee of tournaments. Everyone is excited

I've been to Ur, it's near Talil, right?

I just wish that the Korean events were more advertised. What are Tasteless and Artosis doing with themselves.. BJ Destruction Matches don't happen as often and are less streamed than ESL Cups.
