I think team world sent their best team & team Korea should have herO, Innovation or Gumiho instead of Fantasy.

I feel bad for herO not getting in despite being 6th on wcs standings and it was too close to Trap & TY not making it in.

Fantasy has been playing extremely well lately. He is a solid addition to Team GSL.

"extremely" well? i think most people would agree that he is NOT top 10 in korea right now.

2: I think you forget that a GSL ro32 experience is legitimately extremely well if you afford praise at all to the top 20 Grandmaster players in Europe. 1: He has the makings of greatness, but it needs to be stitched together. I fear he may remain a Ro32 player for at least 5 more months. Against guys like friggin' stats, impossible to climb high without totally immaculate play.

Very satisfied. Team world has the best line-up I could pick, and it's directly aligned with its WCS standings. Ofc it's debatable if in place of Elazer maybe Scarlett or Ptitdrogo would be a better 8th, but as Elazer said on reddit, he had it coming, he lost previous votes when he was without question top8 on the foreign scene. This format might favor Scarlett's very hit or miss style, because if she would show up in a good form, and good mindset, who knows how far she could get, but then again he might be stomped as well in the first round. Overall I woudlnt change it one bit.

Team Korea has an almost perfect lineup as well, Fantasy snuck in, barely edging out Innovation, but oh well, every ro16 and almost every ro8 have at least an odd man out. It was a good bit of drama/ community engagement, I think it worked as intended.
If i could handpick the 8th Korean it surely would be another Protoss, herO or Dear, maybe even Zest, but Inno would have been fine as well.

I'm mad that a bunch of people who dont watch the game or care about the game got to push out my favorite player and country best with another player they dont even know, but Its whatever.

Besides that everything else is awesome I'm happy with the Korean vote that worked perfectly, maybe missing innovation but thats just my old love for him.

Not upset about the roster, but we got lucky the YouTube celebrity was Elazer's friend and not Kelazhur's, this time.

Popular vote should be done like nation wars is doing it.

Also, while the rosters ended up ok, the matches should really put GSL players vs World players in round 1...
