Im gonna say oov. He started the modern macro terran play. You could have an argument with fantasy though, but as ive heard his mech builds were from oov.

Difficult poll imo

Much deeper than boxer auto-vote

I think Nada deserves this the most, for his ability to stay relevant over a period of 7 years whereas none of the above have managed to do so. With that said, Boxer will win.

I voted oov too. I believe he was the reason, not only Terran, but all races, in adapting to the modern day style of macro-orientated play we see today.

and I don't know why TheMarine is there. He did nothing except execute the cookie cutter strategies all of those Terrans made with perfection (thus why he was called By The Book Terran).

Should have put in St.Eagle (revolutionized TvP with the use of Vultures/Spider Mines with siege tanks instead of MnM). People probably wouldn't have voted for him anyway ;p

Boxer, not cuz of autovote, but cuz he is basically the father of Terran. iirc he created the Barracks/Depot/Depot wall-in on ramped maps and he basically "created" the dropship himself.

I voted oov. He revolutionized macro play for all races and sent Terran down a whole new path.

It will be interesting to see if anyone actually acknowledges Midas.

TheMarine, Flash, and to a lesser extent Fantasy really don't belong here.

1st instinct is to vote boxer just because most of the Terrans today wouldn't even be playing Terran if it weren't for him..
2nd is to vote oov for the reasons GTR gives, every Terran today has to master macro play if he wants to have any kind of success.
3rd is to vote boxer just because every strong Terran today except for Flash takes after Boxer more than oov in terms of outlook. Upmagic, Leta, Fantasy, and Mind are all more tactically oriented than strategically oriented.
4th is to vote oov just because he's in the middle of transforming terran back into his own image. Games like the recent shootout between Sea and Savior on Heartbreak Ridge may well become more common, where the Terran doesn't push except to secure even more resources or when he's absolutely sure he will win. Just sits back and abuses Terran defensive depth.

sadly, Nada shouldn't win here simply because he's inimitable. Many of his advantages, such as his hand speed and his experience are pretty much specific to him alone:and can't be taught. Though it would be interesting to see how huge a force Baby will become under Nada's tutelage.
That's not awful writing, DAMMIT. It's perfectly sensical english construction.

yeah more difficult than the toss poll, voted oov though cus I have a feeling many modern terrans rely on pure macro/mechanics and the creativity/inspiration from boxers playstyle is absent in most terrans of today (hi Idra).

Greater impact on what exactly?

The metagame? I guess oov and his macro revolution
Other Terran players? Boxer (Why do you play Terran? Boxer!)
Making Terran the most successful race? Nada

Tough choice between oov and Nada but I voted oov.
Also here's a noob question, how much Boxer has actually done for Terran specifically rather than e-sports as a whole?

I voted oov because I think he changed the way Terran was played and made it a more macro focused race and just changed the meta-game in general.

boxer for bringing people to play terran/switch to terran inspiring people

iloveoov for modern play
literally every single thing modern used relates back to oov
1 barrack, 1 factory double

nada for mechanics
i know a lot people just fell in love with nada's sk terran and vult harass style. Just seeing his clean mechanics.
