MMA vs Ryung should be the two best Ro8 matches. I voted on Alicia because I want an all SlayerS final, but honestly this match could go either way.I mean if you look at Polt's statistics for this match-up they're scary, like he doesn't lose. But Alicia has wins against players including MVP, NaDa, and even Polt's teammate MarineKing. If Polt wins this match, however, I doubt he'll do too well against the other competitors. TvT is certainly his weakest match-up (not only do his stats show it but if you've ever watched it it's a little sloppy) but also he will be going up against one of the best TvTers in the world should he make it to the finals (I figure that the finals should be either MMA, Ryung, or MarineKing, all of whom are remarkable at that match-up (they all have +60% win rates not to mention they've been practicing TvT a lot more this tournament than Polt and will most likely be better prepared).If Alicia wins, on the other hand, he has a much better chance at taking the tournament. I mean he can definitely beat TOP and depending on Line's ZvP he can probably beat him too (who knows though, Line has been full of surprises this whole tournament). Then if he makes it to the finals he stands a good chance of facing a teammate (and those sorts of matches are always really hard to call just because they know each other inside out and the results can be the exact opposite of what you would expect) or he'll probably face MarineKing (not to bash on TheBest, but he went into this tournament with around a 30% win rate and I seriously doubt he has any real chance of making it to the finals when he's up against MarineKing followed by a SlayerS Terran). Still, I kind of want MMA to win the whole tournament and to have the finals be either MMA vs TOP or MMA vs Polt, because that would mean that MMA won the entire tournament literally PLAYING ONLY TvT. Talk about a TvT specialist haha. | ||
