I was wondering what the mods or the site would think about having SC2 team icons like we have for Broodwar, to show our support for our favorite SC2 teams. Gom just put awesome icons on the banner for the team league for all of the teams that are participating, so that part of the work is done, if we can use those. Just a thought, what do you guys think? Edit: Just added the larger icons as well. | ||

I would also like to see "favourite teams" icon.. but it may be a little bit useless once TL gets a logo because the majority of people would just have the TL logo.. if it was team league specific then there would be a point to it  | ||

It's an odd thing to balance. On one hand TL is a community site and it'd be cool to express our team favoritism, but on the other hand TL is also a team and it'd be a little tactless to come here and root for someone else :p | ||

Also, I do not think we need to wait for any reason other then the admins do not have the time. We can change are team preference on the fly and swapping tiny little pictures if a team goes kaput wouldn't need a rocket scientist. | ||

Thats awesome. Now even just for other team league related things like LR threads and stuff, its nice to have big, pretty icons. No one has a nicer slayers one do they? Slayers is the only team on the Gom site with a tiny icon. | ||

Perhaps once the GSL Team League starts rolling we can get some nice, shiny icons to add to our sigs. The OGS, Prime, and SlayerS team icons just look too sexy for them to not be in my sig. | ||

The sc2-teamliquid community needs those! Although TeamLiquid.net has a team I think it's just reasonable to be able to root for other pro-teams as well. Having the right to positively root for Teamliquid comes with the right to be also able to negatively (-> rooting for another team) root for Teamliquid. Hope Wolf's icons get implemented soon. ~ggyo C.W. | ||

I think it would be neat if at the beginning of a major team league or tournament a notification to pick a team you support popped up under your profile like liquibet, and for the remainder of that tournament you proudly display your favorite team. Something along those lines would make it easy to add in foreign team icons and the such. My only reservation is the root icon cause he creeps me out . <3 root though! | ||

I've always loved Polt. I fell in love with Revival after seeing him play in IEM Katowice. So, natural progression of logic: I would like a way to show my support of both of them! I'll understand if you guys have to pass because they're more like a personal sponsor than an actual team (much like RedBull is for Bomber atm), but I'd be totally and utterly stoked if you guys could make it happen. | ||

Who do I have to bribe to get an OZ icon? Even if the original plan was to only have icons for 'active' teams, that doesn't really hold true anymore so it would imo be okay to add more 'legacy' BW team icons. And with the potential amount of returning people (BW:R..) the timing would probably not be the worst right now. | ||
