[Spoiler] MST Group 3 and 4 Winners' Interviews

"Uncle Toss" Much has successfully qualified for his 4th consecutive MSL after defeating Woongjin's Child and SKT1's Rumble.

The following is the interview with Much.

- Your thoughts on your 4th consecutive MSL qualification.
▲ I'm just happy. I lost many games recently so I felt very frustrated, so I am glad that I won and qualified.

- In the Losers' Match, you faced many dangerous moments because of your opponent's ultralisks and defilers.
▲ The Zerg made that army by squeezing out all he could from 3 gas so I was shocked (when I saw the army). But my opponent lost quite a lot of units so I was able to win.

- In the final match, you lost your expansion due to your opponent's all-in attack.
▲ I scouted the zerg's mineral-only expansion but there was no hatchery there so I felt something was amiss. But I was taken aback when I saw my opponent suddenly mining the minerals (at the ramp). But after I defended that well, I let my guard down and lost my expansion.

- After you lost your nexus, your opponent almost broke through your defense.
▲ I was able to defend with my probe micro. I realised it was an all-in attack after I kill his 1 drone. That is why I knew that if I defended well, I would be able to win.

- Your greatest achievement in the MSL is getting into the semifinals. What is your target for this season?
▲ I have to work hard. Rather than revealing my target through interviews, I would just show my hard-working self.

- While you were slumping, Movie played his role well.
▲ Whenever there is a competitor in the same team, you have to feel the competitiveness, but I was simply proud seeing Movie do so well. I think it is because I like him a lot. From now on, I want to work well with Movie.

- Anything you wish to specially say?
▲ Devil helped me a lot with practice, and even accompanied me to my match today. When I return, I will treat him to something delicious. On the other hand, no matter how much I asked Hydra, he wouldn't help me with practice and he only practiced with the B-Team players. I will definitely get my revenge later (laughs).
Also, tomorrow is Parents' Day, but I can't even go back home to see them. I am thankful towards my parents, and I want to tell them that I love them.

Your feelings on making it into the MSL for the 6th straight season.
- Though I’ve reached the MSL 6 times, up until now the furthest I got was once reaching the Round of 4 which is disappointing. This season, I will work hard so that I can definitely make it past the round of 4.

Was vulture harass today’s concept?
- Vulture harass was my concept but I didn’t expect my opponent to go all-in. Luckily, I was able to spot zerglings from the 9 o'clock expo and I was able to counter relatively easily.

It seemed the 3 bunkers were the core of your defense.
- It was an in the moment defensive play. Because I felt that if I just held him off I would be able to win, I built 3 bunkers and because my opponent attacked me as I anticipated, I was able to win.

Is there any trouble you face while dealing with the proleague and your own schedule?
- In the past Winners League because of the format and many situations where I had to complete all-kills by myself, it was difficult. However, this season even if I play a lot it only amounts to two games so it doesn’t really matter.

In the selection is there a particular player you wish were in your group?
- Now there aren’t players like that anymore. Without special concern as to who I’m playing, I just want to quietly advance to the top.

You once lost your chance at winning both leagues so this time your desire to win the MSL must be even greater.
- I was so close to winning a MSL and disappointingly dropped out. This season, I want to resurrect the same feeling I had in the past when I was able to win the OSL and quietly advance in both the OSL and MSL, and by gaining another victory I want to feel that emotion again.

What do you mean by quietly advancing?
- In the past I used to name players I wanted to play but this time until I win the entire thing I want to focus solely on the game. I don’t want to challenge anyone specifically, and I don’t want to get distracted.

Last words you want to say?
- Tomorrow is father’s day. Recently, because I’ve been losing a lot my parents have been worried about me. In contrast to their worrying, there are no problems with my game play, and my health is fine as well. I hope that today’s win can be a gift to my parents for Father’s day.
