Game 1 has started.
Map is Andromeda.
Hwasin is blue Terran at 7. Much is white Protoss at 5.
Much got a Zealot first but it failed to do damage, delayed the machine shop with a manner Pylon, but other than that, nothing really major. Both players are expanding to their safe inside mineral only and Much is expanding to his multi under the cliff right now as well.
|
Hwasin went straight for his multi and Much has both his expansions out. Much gets an Observer over Hwasin's forces just as they move out, and he positions his forces for a flank. Much retreats his Probes from his multi expansion as well.
Actually, it looks like Much is going straight for the throat! Much sends his few Dragoons and Zealots straight for Hwasin's expansion and forces it to lift. However, an SCV wall prevents it from doing anything, and Much's very few forces are forced to run. His Pylon and Gateways fall fast, and it's left to see if Much's Reaver can do anything.
A bunker + Marines are firing at Much's two remaining unpowered Gateways, and it's all but over right now. Much attempted to come back and help defend but gave up on that, and is sending his Dragoons and Zealots at Hwasin's choke again. However, Hwasin has defended that nicely.
Much is expanding yet again down to the 6-o'clock island.

Go HwaSin!~ Go STX SouL~! Cool line up for CJ... :3
|
Much is gonna lose this game T_T
|
looks like hwasin got this
|
Much loses the Shuttle and the two Reavers as his lifeline, and it's only just a matter of time until he gg's out.
Hwasin is building a Factory in Much's base as a signal for Much to get out of the game. Turrets placed by Hwasin in his push are preventing Much's Reavers from doing damage and he gg's out.

one bad decision by much and that was that.
although I don't know if he could have held it even if he had stayed behind. maybe if he put his goons on the ledges above?

Yeah, if he's playing like this, i am absolutely sure that he will climb high on the next power rank.

man, hwasin is on a tear.

You're giving Hwasin too much credit. He really haven't done that much lately except get lucky vs Jaedong a few times :-P Seriously, I want to see him win a Bo3 at least before starting to see people get all fanboy over him. He isn't solid enough imo, always looking good for a moment then losing horribly.

Game 2 is about to start.
Map is Colosseum.
Kal is Teal Protoss at 7. DarkElf is Red Terran at 5.
|
DarkElf opts to get his Barracks at 150 minerals, instead of waiting for 250 to get his Barracks and Refinery at the same time. Kal is going a typical 12 Assimilator build.
DarkElf sends his scouting SCV out, which is good, because Kal is getting double Gateways. However, DarkElf scouts diagonally across the map first, so it might be too late.

I'd rather have Hwasin in the PR in Bisu's place.

DarkElf is using his Marines to clear out the Sunken in front of his base, and his SCV gets into Kal's base and scouts the two Gateways. Kal's first Dragoon is out and chases the SCV out and kills it. Three Dragoons are moving towards DarkElf's base, and DarkElf is opting to get his Machine Shop.
Some nice Marine control manages to fend off the initial Dragoons.
Kal gets his Citadel of Adun and a Robotics Facility at the same time - but his Citadel his hidden in the corner of his base in an effort to hide some tech. Templar Archives is going up as well.
DarkElf is moving to Kal's base with 6 Marines, a Tank and a Vulture. He's also simultaneously expanding to his expansion.
Some nice Dragoon control manages to take out all of the attacking units with minimal losses. DarkElf's scouting Barracks will see the Citadel, though. DarkElf sneaks a few Zealots in and manages to see the Templar tech.
Kal loads up a Dark Templar in his Shuttle, but Dark Elf is thoroughly preparing himself by placing down an Engineering Bay and an Academy simultaneously.

Kal just mine drags a mine into a BUNCH of SCVs
