Sunday, up 6:30, talk to USA girl for 30 minutes, get ready to leave, and head towards Subway. Because it's Sunday the subway thingies go late, so me being there at 7;40 was nice, but the first one went at 8:04. After quite a bit of waiting, I finally manage to get myself to the subway station I was suppose to go.
Meet my mom, get picked up by my sister and her boyfriend with the car. Drive to the beach, all is fine. Arrive near the beach, walk towards the beach.
Our idea was to play beach volley, but we didn't sign up fast enough, so we were in reserve spot #1. Off to the front of the beach we went, to unpack, and settle down, bake off our territory  By then 2 friends of my sister arrived (note, sister is 30, out of your league, dont ask)
We were gonna play 4on4, at least if we got a spot. 9:45 and we hear we're due to play on field 73, and off we go. Our first match was lost 7-21, quite bad. The 2nd match went a lot better, we were winning, I was standing on the offensive, front of the field. Some guy was on the opposite of me, and when the ball came there, he made a weird move and I managed to hit him with my toes frontal, and they were hurting.
I finished the game, which we WON, but I could barely walk. After that I spent another 9? hours on the beach, mostly sunbathing (guess what a tomato I look(ed) like, heh, everything hurts)
17:30 time to leave, off to the hospital cause I still couldnt walk. Turns out I have a broken toe, and the toe next to it has a cut in the bone, nothing can be done against it and it just has to heal.
Now im stuck with 30 degrees outside, can barely walk, and red as a tomato.
Please have sympathy, thanks

omg field 73 ? that is many volleyball fields - yes
btw. beach volleyball ownz, we have an open turney every saturday here but my tp went lazy lately and i can't play alone

I played a lot beach volley last year  But only 2v2 like pro volley. Its much much better

mr roommate broke his toe yesterday. Turns out the wall is, indeed, more solidly built then my roommate is.

I've had a fractured left hand, dislocated shoulder, class 3 groin pull (off the bone), 3 concussions, 3 holes in my face (croquet mallet, diving board [2]) and I just found a hair in my cereal. Ick.

On the bright side, at least anything broken under the waist doesn't affect ur bw gaming.
