Hoho! Look at me, big, fancy editor of a big, fancy internet thread. Awesome. I'm sure as most of you know, our beloved LiquiScoop is no longer with us. LiquiScoop was conceived in the more innocent days of TeamLiquid, when we were still a tight-knit community. Don't get me wrong, we still are, but there are many new posters who know nothing of our heritage and history and thus, the community has lost it's aura. So today, I bring back something that will, hopefully, every week, gather TeamLiquidians from all the forums (yes, even the SC2 forum) to laugh and share together as we once did. No, this is not LiquiScoop, nothing will replace LS. And no, it is not officially TL endorsed. Just a column from a guy who cares (awww <3).

Pony Express, the latest in last weeks news (better late than never).
Serious Business. srsly.
- Pick of the litter.
Batch 17 of Blizzard's SC2 Q&A came out this week answering many new (and useless) questions. Not to be overlooked, however, is TeamLiquid's very own question submission which made every other question look like midget poo. TL.net FIGHTING!~
One notable comment in the thread from the original battle.net announcement:

They are a bunch of sad wannabe progamers who are horribly afraid of sc2 becoming more micro bases (AKA SKILL) and
getting stomped on by the dreaded wc3 players because the TL.Netters couldn't micro their way out of a paper
bag.

But animals seem to satisfy this criterion, and we typically think that only persons, and not animals, have free will. Let us then understand free will as the capacity unique to persons that allows them to control their actions. It is controversial whether this minimal understanding of what it means to have a free will actually requires an agent to have a specific faculty of will, whether the term "free will" is simply shorthand for other features of persons, and whether there really is such a thing as free will at all. What do you think?" www.Teamliquid.net

He wins the $500, and is put into the pool of 5 gamers to be looked at be eSTRO, the person chosen will be flown to Korea, and play with the team, if they have enough talent or look like they are learning easily enough, they have a shot at having a long term contract.
1st: Idra $500
2nd: Skew $300
3rd: Dino $150
4th: Xiaozi $50
5th: Iefnaij vs. Nony needs to be played

Replays will be released once I collect them all.
After a series of grueling games, our resident gosu Idra, took home first place as well as $500. Rounding out the Top 5 were: Skew (that lucky newb), Dino, Xiaozi, with Iefnaij vs Nony the be determined, respectively. All of the Top 5 will be reviewed by eStro and one lucky person will be chosen to play with their SC progaming team. Congrats and goodluck all! - The harpoons, man them.
These days it seems like MBS threads are multiplying like rabbits. Diseased, inbreeding rabbits. This nice poll was created to gauge how TL felt about MBS, but was subsequently posted on the cluster-fuck of AIDS that is the battle.net SC2 forum. If I were so inclined as to compare that forum with any group in society, well, I hate to use the N word but ... they're newbs. On October 09 2007 10:01 Prose wrote:![[image loading]](http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/9682/mbspolljn2.png)

Also, a new experimental feature has popped up called the PX which gives a weekly round-up of forum threads. Check it out if you still haven't.
Funnies. The kind only acronyms can describe.
- Hair today, gone tomorrow. (Haha!)
Fashionable TLers are layin' it down, or rather, raisin' it up in a revealing new hair thread. With all kinds of advice on which gel, wax, glue, or any other goop that's best for keeping your hair standing on end, it's just what today's stressed out, working man needs.

There's nothing more annoying than hearing someone complaining about their job. However, if that job involves taking your clothes off, it's hilarious. Listening to a stripper rant about her job is like listening to little Timmy, who fell down the well, cry. Yeah, you kind of feel sorry for him, but what kind of dipshit falls down a well? I'm sure he only did it for the money. On October 06 2007 19:50 CharlieMurphy wrote:

Seriously guys, we wouldn't want to COMPROMISE HER DIGNITY. - O'hana
What started out as a regular TL-poll-owning event turned out to be a smashing thread. Here's the synopsis: we vote for hot goth girl in hot goth girl contest, ugly goth girl (she's losing) gets paranoid and goes Sherlock Holmes on us (probably for the cool trench coat), ugly goth girl finds TL, hilarity ensues. Obviously, she should've won, because she's better looking. Hmm, that sounds familiar...On October 07 2007 01:52 electrobunny wrote:

Anyway, its useful...the whole lot has been screen grabbed! Doh! too late, everyone will know, even if she wins now.
