<center><b>WCG Player & Event Information - US Regionals</b></center>


<b>Event Information</b>

The WCG US Regionals are set to take place in early/mid August. The North event is August 4–5, while the South & Pacific events are set to take place August 11–12. Winners of each regional will receive a $250 travel stipend (per player for team based games) and berth into the WCG US Finals in Orlando, Florida September 14-16 where over $75,000 and a chance to represent the US at the WCG Grand Finals will be on the line.


<b>Venues</b>

The event will take place at four regionally based LAN centers across the United States. You will be competing at the venue that corresponds to the region you qualified in. If you have any question as to which region you qualified in, please email us at wcgplayers@icm2k.com.

<b>Day 1 s<A name="cutnews"></A>ignifies the first day of competition (August 4 for North – August 11 for South & Pacific)</b>

Check-in begins at 10:00AM for all games, although matches begin later. All tournaments will end the same day they begin on. A more detailed schedule will be distributed to players soon. Note that FIFA ’07 and Need For Speed: Carbon will be played on PC at the regional events.

Flights should be booked into the following airports based on region with arrival and departure times corresponding to your scheduled event:

<b>Northern Region (Net Heads)</b>
• Indianapolis International (IND) – 17 Miles (about 30 minutes)

<b>Southern Region August 11 11-12 (Mug N Mouse)</b>
• Dallas Love Field (KDAL) – 3.3 Miles (about 10 minutes)
• Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) – 35.9 Miles (about 45 minutes)

<b>Pacific Region August 11 11-12 (CGCentre)</b>
• John Wayne (SNA) – 10 Miles (about 15 minutes)
• Los Angeles International (LAX) – 50 Miles (about 1 hour)

<b>Prizing</b>
All winners will be receiving a $250 travel stipend to the WCG US Finals in Orlando, FL September 14-16. In Orlando, over $75,000 in cash and prizes will be on the line, as well as a chance to represent the US at the WCG Grand Finals in Seattle, WA this October.

Additionally, players at the WCG US Finals will receive an unlimited admission 7-day park pass to both Universal Studios Florida and Universal's Islands of Adventure!

Wasn't LastGosu a recently discovered hacker? Like w/ sO.o
Well if he had used a hack to get qualified for WCG, I guess he won't be able to use one during the offline qualifications

He was discovered way before wcg 2006 even began, then he cleaned his name by going to wcg and winning it, now he is recognized and everything is cool.
