I think its pretty fun to push your town game up high as you can and try your damndest to get your scum game to mirror it.
Of course you will have off town games or lower activity town games that make it somewhat easier to fake as scum. Real life does get involved but it feels so good when you have a decent town game that you can emulate as mafia and not hinder town as town becuase you are trying to destroy your meta at the same time.

I think you will have a more difficult time with your scum meta shape just because of the level of involvement you show when youa re town and its so hard to fake. But thats for another time

I think it makes sense in the context of him coming across really scummy in the first half of day 1 last game he wants to take a more back seat roll, so I'd be willing to give some town points for that. The problem is a forced read. In what I quoted it's pointed out a couple of the problems where the thought process doesn't quite meet with reality.
Ie, he did this one game and is doing this here. This sort of logical leap in itself is not a bad one at all, and it is one that someone who's trying to become better should make. And it is a good obaervation.
However as pointed out this change in behavior should be more towards a scum sided or strictly neutral position than a neutral/town. But the read is forced through in an unnatural way to make him hi e town points to prp.
It's semantics a bit but it is trying to give someone a town read just to seem like he's doing something.

You took what didn't gel in my mind from his post and drew a pretty logical conclusion from it. I agree, it was a pretty big logical leap that didn't really need to be made. @LS while I appreciate a healthy amount of fear for my scum game I'm not so sure there is a point in trying to deter everyone from town reading me when I have a decent amount of content for that part of the game.
