Sophia, Yann & Mano,
fondateurs.

Invitation to the meltdown 2.0
One year and a half ago, the meltdown opened its doors in Paris at the dawn of the new esport era. An era where watch streams and play videogames is no longer a solitary hobbie but a social activity and a way to share your pation with others.
After opening in Berlin then in Londo, it is now time for the Paris Meltdown to become the biggest place dedicated to E-sport as of this day.
Its 300 square meters were imagined in the most little details to greet more gamers than ever in the best possible atomsphere. You will find drinks but also food, lots of screens and a stage equiped for the production of professional shows.
We would be happy to see you on launch day which will be the 21th of december.
You'll see : A written and animated show by our partner OGamingTV and showmatchs with international players, un DJ and a horde of furious gamers !
We will greet you from 9pm at the "6 passage Thiéré, Paris (métro Bastille)".
Sincerly,
Sophia, Yann & Mano.
Founders.
I hope you're excited ! Because i am ! If you're in Paris for the holliday i hope to see many TL shirts in the bar !
(i'm in no case affiliated to the meltdown. So... don't ask me question. i'm just a happy customer).
EDIT : Pictures
I think this is the new one
And i think that it was the ancient one (like on Zerus)
EDIT 2 : Even French media put up a "reportage" (english word ? help ?) on the meltdown. Can find it somewhere but... French you know

Visited last year in Paris. Seriously a must visit for all nerds and gamers. Great staff, great management, every one loved to game. I talked trash to a girl staff member (sophia) about how good i was at sc2, she humbled me pretty quickly lol. Pic from last year, make sure you try the blue flame hellion.

Would not be worth being franchised if you're in China. You won't benefit efficiently from the network's PR and communication, you won't get help with suppliers, they most likely won't help training your Chinese speaking staff, and most importantly will be useless at getting the necessary guanxi which is the #1 thing you need to open a successful bar in China.
That being said, the concept of Meltdown is great and I have no doubt an e-sport bar could work here.

The thing is the new meltdown will be REALLY bigger than the ancient one.
It's a really nice bar, you can play and watch streams, order a stimpack or a spawning pool. I'm really excited about what they will be cooking. Their cocktails are good
(Thx for the spotlight. I can update my TL achievements)
So sick! I was in Paris on vacation a few months ago and I wanted to go to Meltdown, but when I walked by it looked really crowded, I didn't know anybody and I don't speak french, so I decided not go in Hopefully I'll get a chance to go back to Paris and visit the new one sometime! Will it be strange if I walk in alone and don't speak french? :p

Honestly, just don't worry and get in! The majority of people there will be able to converse with you (we're not _that_ bad in english). And it's always nice to have foreign visitors!
