Not only is our eSports scene alive, but it's been so for a long time as well. And right now, finals of one of the biggest SC2 events - the Avermedia SC2 League - are about to take place. Never heard of it? Might be because this is our first attempt at bringing our SC2 eSports scene to the foreign audiences. Here is hoping everything goes well. A little bit of info about Avermedia SC2 League:
It is the biggest SC2 league in our country, open to all players of Czech & Slovak residence. Participants are divided into groups of 10, and ordered by skill into 4 divisions as well. After all the qualifiers have been played out, the players then enter the play-offs, with the top 8 advancing to the live finals, where they have the chance to win prizes valued at over $750 (USD)! The finals are played as a full double elimination Bo3 bracket with Bo5 final match, so lots of action coming your way
The finals are played on Saturday, Jul 06 1:30pm GMT (GMT+00:00)

1st place: Intel SSD 520 - 120 GB, BOX + Avermedia Live Gamer Portable + a PC game
2nd place: Phillips 227E4QSD wide-screen monitor + a PC game
