Thanks to UHF for the awesome poster
We may have been slightly disappointed to find out SEA this year no longer had its own WCS qualifiers. But lucky for us, the kind folks at Blizzard have put together a small series of tournaments just the SEA region in the form of these Vengeance Cups. Its great to have some good competition going on with fantastic prize pools! For now, these countries will be Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand and each of them will have their own prize pools and national champions. The Singapore Vengeance Cup alone will already have a cash prize pool of over $5,000. The prizes are sponsored by Blizzard/Asiasoft and SC2SEA.com will be the official tournament organizer for all the qualifiers, except for the NUS qualifier. There is also a separate $1,000+ Star Jewel tournament going on as the side event, so get your girlfriends down and score some sweet loot!
The Malaysia Vengeance Cup announcement would be posted shortly.
