I'm thinking there is at least one third party based on the wording of things.

With instant majority lynches, I think the best way to run things is only allow a hammer within the last four hours of the cycle. Town benefits from an extended day as long as we have enough people around at the end of the cycle to achieve a majority. There is nothing more annoying than to see a bunch of random bandwagon votes without the opportunity to comment about it.

DarthPunk's miller claim is consistent with his miller policy in past games. He does acknowledges how beneficial a mafia miller claim can be and I don't buy his argument that it's something he would never pull as mafia. It's a great plan if you're comfortable with the attention. @prplhz, why ask me in specific about my opinion of the miller claim? I already stated an anti-miller view. Did you want to push me in that direction or do you disagree that DarthPunk should be considered tomorrow as a candidate?

Also, 24 hours with functional power and sewage. Even with the plot to take over the ship and murder us all, this has already far exceeded my expectations.

Nope, the sentence is probably the least relevant part. I don't like the fact that he is defending his miller claim, which is a completely reasonable mafia n0 tactic, by arguing that it isn't a very good mafia decision. Of course its just n0 though, so I certainly haven't made up my mind one way or another on anyone until the relevant posting begins.

The reason why no one does it, and therefore DP says its bad, is cause there isnt really much upside. Upsides are if someone gets copchecked then he can claim away his purposed red identity. How many times have you seen people caught by a red check? Not often for me.
Upsides for town is to just not waste a check on you.

Dont use blue claims and stuff. Use behavioral analysis. Why is DP's supposed bad view towards his claim scummy?

Of course there is tons of upside to a claim. It's extremely rare that a scum player can argue himself out of a red check. High profile players are magnets for checks and a miller claim pretty much guarantees you won't be checked.

The part that I find scummy is that he said he considers himself a good scum player. I tend to agree. A good scum player is more than willing to attract attention to himself for personal benefit. He is saying that as a scum he would not be willing to attract attention to himself for personal benefit. Defending the miller claim because it benefits town is fine, but defending the miller claim because its an unlikely mafia decision isn't.

I guess the point that I'm making is that he acknowledges how an uncontested miller claims can win games in the quote I provided and now he is arguing that a mafia miller claim would be crazy.
