Out of that whole thing, the two people that catch my eye the most are the Kush/Vivax hydra and the Prome/Phagga hydra. The Prome one because his early-game seemed a bit off. Early-D1 trolling caveats and whatnot, but some of the questions he asks are literally pointless and seem like he's posting for the sake of posting:



Him excusing himself to work also seems unnecessary and like he's very conscious about his own image/absence.

1) Buddying is a mischaracterization of my goals. I just tried to strike up a conversation with the first person I saw in the thread, which happened to be the geript-half of the hydra.

Secondly, the logic of "buddying the hydra" doesn't really hold, since you are both separate entities. Me getting on good terms with geript does nothing to influence your opinion or view of me. And with all respect to geript, there are plenty of better players to buddy in this game if I were scum :3

2) As far as me "trying really hard" - it's silly early Day 1 talk. Though the read on gerpit at the time was genuine, since he seemed to be taking certain posts more seriously than they were intended, and seemed very earnest in doing so. Case in point:


3) The whole "case on VE" thing has been beaten to death. The basic point is that I thought VE was scummy at the time. As far as "hapa can't be this bad", I kinda do this all the time as town. If you don't believe me, DP and Prome can attest to my early Day 1 tunnels.

I went from mafia to silly-town on Hapa over the course of some posts last night, Hapa seemed to get a bit more reasonable even if my better half continued to provoke him a little, so we'll see where he goes from here.



VE was right earlier in the day about Prome, his joke posts were tryhard and I don't understand at all what point he's trying to get at here. If we are indeed mafia, what kind of magical response is he expecting to elicit that will help confirm/deny this read? Anyways, I could kill him for now.

It's not "soft calling" when you throw your vote down and stupid does not equal mafia. It was a short, semi serious early game vote post with only one justification. Not at all an "over justification", there was only one reason for the vote.

His other reasons for finding vivax420 suspicious look similarly manufactured. The way he words his case and frames vivax420's posts overall does not feel genuine and open-minded (e.g. "supposed to be 420's concise thoughts", "even gives us a lynchable list"). The random comment about wanting to "almost" lynch GK for tradition's sake also looks like kind of fluff mafia likes to add to their post.

That's why your post bother me a little, FnB. It's so much the fact that you soft defend MA, but it's HOW you do it, considering there is absolutely NO WAY you could possibly know if MA is pushing a scum agenda or not with his posting.


So what you're saying now is you don't want to write your promised case because it was based on just GK's filter (which was tiny) and entirely based on the flow of his posting? Ok, I suppose I understand but then it seems your case probably didn't have much of a leg to stand on to begin with if you could immediately look elsewhere and prove yourself wrong. Why bother to toss out suspicion and make a big deal about a case that wasn't solid or even written yet?
