So are we trying to come up with some super OP plan to deprive scum of roles/maximize town roles? I haven't played in one of these yet (unbelievably) so I'm pretty excited. | ||

The only concerns I have: 1) There are logistic concerns regarding who the "chosen" even are - I don't think we have time for an "election" or anything, plus there's no guarantee that everyone will even be around to give their opinion. This isn't a normal day phase, we have less than 24 hours. 2) Would it not be more beneficial to have our super townie players pick preservation roles? Denying mafia looks good on paper, but it's like Sherlock said we can't deny them all the mafia-favoring roles. | ||

Let this be a lesson to you noobs. Mediocrity (10, 10 baby) reigns.  Now, I fully did NOT expect to be so high in the draft. As a result, I'm ill-prepared. On the one hand, I promised myself that if I was in the top 10 I'd try for a specific role. On the other hand, being SO high up makes me a good counter-picking candidate. However considering my low thread presence this game, I can understand reservations with this. I'll be spending some time tonight reading the thread and putting down thoughts on a few players. In the meantime, I'm listening to suggestions if anyone wants me to try and counter-pick scum. Otherwise I'm treating from ...this point on as "Game-time". Game on bitches. | ||

What if everyone who picks KP roles promises not to use them? I was looking at the role list and it seems that scum KP is fixed at 1? So it seems like scum will be focusing on trying to increase their KP (in a game this size). What if we all just don't use KP roles and lynch the fucking piss out of anyone who does? I mean obviously scum aren't going to claim if/when they do, but if we can get townies into the KP roles this would be a really good way to try and limit mafia KP. | ||
