I decided to not attend this year due to WCG groupstage being bo1 and totally random and Italy sending only two players. It's just a tournament where it's very easy to fail due to bad luck. I don't consider going on a 24 hours trip to China with another guy I don't know from a game I don't follow for a not so well organized tournament the best way for me to spend a week. I have been to WCG many times already since 2005, and I also think it would be great to see how other italian players fare in international competitions.

You don't follow the game you play? It's 1 slot for fifa and 1 slot for sc2

Understandable explanation by ClouD. At least you made your decision before the WCG started, unlike Happy and Nerchio, who won their nationals and then decided to skip the tournament. I think it was very unprofessional by them.
Anyway, Italian nationals is still gonna be interesting
I'm curious who's gonna take the spot.
