Each time I hit "Find Match", I'm greeted by the loading screen as usual. But when it's finished and I'm supposed to enter the game, instead I'm sent back to the Quick Match window.
Every game this happens it's shown as a tie in my match history. This goes for not just my main account, but other accounts including those on other servers (I use R1CH's scene region changer).
I tried playing a custom game and I can join the lobby, and play the game fine, but for some reason I just can't enter a ladder game.

this happens to me after using rich's region changer too. cant join any multiplayer game. need help!
|
Hm, can you post about this in his region changer thread? He's much more likely to see it if you do.
|
my match history looks the exact same. GG Blizzard.
|
Oh it must be the region changer. mine is the same. in for answer! sorry for double post.

Well its more no problem before and now there is xD

At least I know I'm not alone now! It probably is the Region Switcher
|
have to reinstall sc2 or? :|
|
I reinstalled my SC2 and was able to get it to work again (my issue was with custom games and not ladder). You could try to search the region changer thread and see if deleting certain folders (so SC2 can re-download them) would take care of it rather than reinstalling.

It's 100% Blizzard's fault that their own software is so terrible 3rd party stuff is even needed for a basic thing like changing regions.

The technology just isn't there yet...
But no on a more serious note practically any game I play has 3rd party software that improves gameplay. It's not just Blizzard, though I do think there is a bigger scene for 3rd party software regarding their RTS games.
Anyways the surest fix is to indeed reinstall SC2. I reckon its some files that you've downloaded from the other regions that are messing up with your own that is causing the ladder system to result in a tie match every time you try.

having the same problem after using rich's region changer -_-

same problem here!
|
go to: Navigate to C:\ProgramData* (C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data* in Windows XP). Delete the Battle.net folder. this part is from http://us.battle.net/support/en/article/diablo-iii-uninstall-instructions d3/sc2... same thing here
open sc2 from the sc2.exe (no switcher)
it will download the patch again, like 20 mb i think
play ladder
i just worked for me for NA... dont wanna try the switcher yet TT, at least i can play on NA for now

Same problem here. Surprised I couldn't find anyone else complaining about this until I searched for this thread.
